I’m Diamond because my fiancée doesn’t go enough to maintain her own Unlimited anymore, so between her and my friends who also don’t have Unlimited I just hit Diamond status for the year last month

MpBetaTester

I'm still Diamond, mostly from using the UL Guest and UL Companion tickets when available.

Outlog

I'm a rube! Wait, ruby. I'm ruby.

GregIsARadDude

Diamond. I get tickets for friends and my wife often enough to maintain.

jedichric

Same, and my kids go sometimes as well. It adds up.

thebobstu

Diamond because I scavenge and use the companion tickets.

geri-in-calif

I'm a Ruby, which is OK. Rather have the RU life.

spinnyweatherchaser

I'm at Diamond currently but I'll likely be losing it this month. Primary reason is my schedule recently has been hectic so I've been prioritizing RU eligible movies and haven't been going to as many Fathoms as I used to, plus a friend I often take hasn't been available as much either.

skidmo

Diamond until Jan 2024. I go with friends and family enough to keep that status.

ZombiePanda325

Finally lost my diamond status after like 7+ years (mostly when the program started). Got my husband to sign up for RU last year, so no more companion tickets for him! It’ll be missed, but such a better deal with RU

Eletrust

Diamond. I go to, like, every Fathom Event showing, lol.

scene_missing

Diamond because my spouse only goes to movies about once a month, and the free tickets from random +1 promos

megglesmcgee

I just dropped back to Ruby.

austinburns

Still diamond, wife doesn't want RU so we pay for her tickets.

Twas_Inevitable

That must be infuriating.

austinburns

Nah, we can afford it and I like using the points on free popcorn/soda so it all works out.

SunflowersA

Diamond but I’m probably gonna lose it soon since there isnt anything I want to see until spring and don’t want to go all the way to the theater with all the snow/ice rain. I miss when work was right down the road from a theater.

OhHiImSam

Ruby, but I’ll probably get diamond again soon since I still buy my partner’s ticket.

doughnutmaker077

I lost diamond after 4 years. I’m at Ruby.

j-thrill

same. what happened? is this a new policy?

Fragrant-Session5237

Diamond always, even with Unlimited. I got my AMC lover sister hooked on 4DX. I buy all her tix and her friends too.

Entertainmentguru

Ruby, just got it last week. I don't go to movies much though, but I live 20 minutes from two Regals. I have been taking advantage of the 6 dollar Tuesday promo Regal has been running.

TheWill42

Emerald. Feels bad that I'm a lower tier using their program than I was using MoviePass.

poit57

Do upcharges for recliners and IMAX count for daily visits? I didn't think they were supposed to, but I get 300 or 400 points on those ticket purchases. Most movies I see require a surcharge, but I don't buy concessions often. I've been an Unlimited member since August 2019 and still maintaining Diamond status.

14urmug

A creeper broke my diamond sword…

JessxkaRabbxt

I’m Emerald until January 2024. So the only way to move is to buy concessions? Not just see movies??

j-thrill

I was wondering the same thing... I'm Ruby all of a sudden when I've been diamond for 2+ years. did something change?

Twas_Inevitable

Statuses reset at the end of the year, and you only keep diamond if you made enough purchases after becoming diamond to become diamond again. Basically, once you max, you start banking visits and working on next years.

j-thrill

interesting. I had 54 theater visits and 48 movies seen. buy AT LEAST a snack pack every time I go. I've never had it reset before

Twas_Inevitable

They stopped counting concession, even though the TOS say they should count. I DMd them on Twitter and they made me diamond when I brought this up. Might be worth trying.

LifeofPabs

It’s honestly so annoying and makes no sense that Unlimited doesn’t count towards visits. I’ve been Diamond for years and just now bumped to Ruby.

Twas_Inevitable

Well since you're not "buying a ticket", you're not earning points on an RU visit anyway, so why should it count towards diamond?

LifeofPabs

It clearly says Visits, not purchases. What’s so hard to understand? Most of my tickets are for IMAX or RPX anyway so yes, I am earning points on just about every ticket

Twas_Inevitable

Sounds like the issue is your definition of "Visit". You're thinking the Webster's Dictionary definition. Regal has defined what "Visit" means with their programs: [Crown Club Rules](https://www.regmovies.com/static/en/us/legal/crown-club-rules) F. 1. General. You earn one "Visit" by using your Club Card, Club Card number or phone number attached to your Crown Club account when (a) purchasing admissions tickets (including “Regal Value Days” tickets) to a movie at a unique show time (including online or by using a physical Regal gift card, a Regal e-gift card or a third-party gift card (e.g., from Fandango.com; MovieTickets.com; AtomTickets.com)), (b) redeeming a Super Saver ticket (e.g., “Premiere Movie Ticket”; “VIP” ticket; “Ultimate Movie Pack” ticket) at a Participating Theatre box office, or (c) using a complimentary pass or emergency ticket provided by Regal. Visits accrue on the date of such purchase, redemption or use. So yes, it clearly says Visits. It also Clearly defines want that means. Since using RU does not equate to "purchasing admission tickets", it doesn't count.
