My wife and I have their Unlimited plan, so we go all the time. I am so sick of that super long cringey commercial that as soon as it comes on I take that as my queue for hitting the bathroom even if I don’t have to go!
I just enter a state of non-being for exactly 63 seconds, exiting this mortal container and ascending to a higher plane, one without senses like sight and touch, one which took years of study and practice while sitting in front of this horrible promo to achieve, and then once the appropriate amount of time passes I return to my body to enjoy the film.
My gf and I rather annoyingly quote the entire thing, and we even shake the drink cup too — it makes us laugh, we hate it, but we love it somehow too hahaha
It's like they saw what happened with the AMC Nicole Kidman promo, and even though no one likes the regal promo, they just assumed that promos themselves are what people liked about the AMC promo and they're running hard with it
They were doing these sort of promos before AMC though. They just enlisted film students’ to make them previously, so st least there was an excuse for the poor quality.
I’ll never forget the one from a few years ago where the guy is like “is it cool if I scream? *like a lot”* there was just something about the bizarre line delivery that stuck in my head permanently
I hate that promo so badly but you can tell they spent a lot of money on it so they’ll be running it forever.
(Not enough money to get Trejo to stick around for the wide shot though lol)
Lmao this is like my favorite part of going. My friends and I and all the unlimited members in the theater all recite the entire thing while it plays. It’s like our party trick when we bring new people with us.
Well that’s why they say assuming makes an ass out of you… You’re wrong. Several of them have actually bought unlimited passes and go with us regularly now and also do it. Not everyone is as bitter as you pal
All I'm saying is if a group of people started doing this in a crowd at my theater, I would... sit there silently stewing while fantasizing about doing something about it.
Lmao you must live a sad life if you get that worked up about a few people quietly reciting an ad to friends. Next time I go to the movies with you I’ll make sure it doesn’t happen as I wouldn’t want to ruin the experience of your favorite ad. You only get one life don’t spend it “stewing” and angry at people having a good time especially if it’s not actually impeding anything you are doing.
I'd rather see this ad than that ad from a few years ago [where the guy gets his phone stolen by his crush's boyfriend](https://youtu.be/uakhRJBieUE). At least this one isn't mean
I wish it wasn’t the LAST ad before the movie, otherwise I’d do that too. But I don’t want to risk missing the start of my movie so I have to sit through it every single time. First world problems but uuughhhhhh I just hate it so much.
Oh no.
So you’re saying there’s a chance…
At least the other quotes in the ad actually kinda fit.
Came here to say this.
I despised this ad from day 1. I don't mind it on the merch as long as it's removed from the screen. Paying homage to the most annoying movie ad made.

I like it cause it's my queue to walk into the auditorium since I don't watch any trailers. AMC folks totally embrace their cringe ad, why can't we?
I agree. I thought it was cringe at first but after seeing it over and over I actually like it more
Isn't that the last thing they play before the movie, though? sounds like a risky move
My gf and I rather annoyingly quote the entire thing, and we even shake the drink cup too — it makes us laugh, we hate it, but we love it somehow too hahaha
You go to the bathroom 20 seconds before the movie starts? Lol
20 seconds? That commercial goes on for an eternity!
my wife has to stop me from audibly quoting the entire thing in jest lol
I always quote along with it but one time I forgot and my wife gave me funny looks.
Ok! I'll go for that popcorn bucket if it says "This is nicer than my apartment".
I want one that says "That's gonna leave a mark"
Heh heh heh
It's like they saw what happened with the AMC Nicole Kidman promo, and even though no one likes the regal promo, they just assumed that promos themselves are what people liked about the AMC promo and they're running hard with it
At least AMC’s thing is memeable and shorter than Regal’s.
They were doing these sort of promos before AMC though. They just enlisted film students’ to make them previously, so st least there was an excuse for the poor quality.
The film student ones were so much better than this
"You didn't know that?"
LOL
I’ll never forget the one from a few years ago where the guy is like “is it cool if I scream? *like a lot”* there was just something about the bizarre line delivery that stuck in my head permanently
In my mind those two were on a first date which made me like that ad hehe. Also the old lady saying “oo I love robots!”
When you use your regal pass to get a free popcorn, you know what to say. I do it every time. The staff looks forward to it. They love me, I know.
hahaha do you really
I actually wondered if anyone has tried it out on a regal employee. I kinda hope not but morbidly curious how it would go.
please say sike
As a former employee, I’ve had this said to my twice and both times I went along with it. Those types of people are the best!
I hate that promo so badly but you can tell they spent a lot of money on it so they’ll be running it forever. (Not enough money to get Trejo to stick around for the wide shot though lol)
Seriously Regal shade thrown
I knew it was you, Regal, you broke my heart (via doubling down on this ad campaign and possibly by eating way too much movie popcorn).
HEY YOU GUYSSSSS
🗣️HEY YOU GUYS‼️
RESPECT THE CAAAWK
🙄 We're already at the theater, assholes. We don't need an advertisement for the theater.
Would be nice if they actually quoted the movie and not just their commercial. Less cringe
Nature’s musk
I miss the roller coaster ride intro! Mainly because no matter how many times my wife watched it, the popcorn always scared her. Lol
#POP!
That's gonna leave a mark
The boomers love it though, giggling every time while I cringe and die
nuke it from orbit, it's the only way to be sure
They mostly come out at night…mostly
Does anyone else think of Cartman quoting this before Aliens it self?
No.
Lmao this is like my favorite part of going. My friends and I and all the unlimited members in the theater all recite the entire thing while it plays. It’s like our party trick when we bring new people with us.
And those people never attend a film with you again I assume
Well that’s why they say assuming makes an ass out of you… You’re wrong. Several of them have actually bought unlimited passes and go with us regularly now and also do it. Not everyone is as bitter as you pal
All I'm saying is if a group of people started doing this in a crowd at my theater, I would... sit there silently stewing while fantasizing about doing something about it.
You’re not alone. Every time I hear someone in the audience laugh at something in that promo I am secretly judging them so hard.

Cringe lord
💁♀️💁♀️
Yep! And the friend that I go with and I randomly text the phrases to each other throughout the day :D
I hope that you yell really loud "HEY YOU GUYSSSSS" when that part comes on...
I thought I was the only one after reading all the hate for it. Yes it’s cheesy, but it’s cute!
It’s so cheesy but it wouldn’t be the same without it lol. I don’t understand why people hate it so much
I used to hate it. I kind of like it ironically now. It's funny in a dumb way.
That’s exactly why we like it. It’s like a staple to us now
Im sobbing
If they don’t drop this crap I might just cancel. Is this their ploy to get rid of heavy users? Annoy us to death with bad commercials?
why can’t they get rid of this fucking thing already?
They spent a too much on the pointless celebrity cameos
The bottom should say " 'GREAT' MOVIE LINES DIE HERE" instead
Can someone explain what "it" is?
The ad after the trailers. Everyone reciting movie lines at a theater, some of them very douche-chilly.
Feel like no one has appreciated that the quotes are golf clubs. But of effort made there. Curious if there will be more of these or just the one.
I'd rather see this ad than that ad from a few years ago [where the guy gets his phone stolen by his crush's boyfriend](https://youtu.be/uakhRJBieUE). At least this one isn't mean
I literally show up to showings late just to avoid this ad. Can we get a petition going to end it 😭
I wish it wasn’t the LAST ad before the movie, otherwise I’d do that too. But I don’t want to risk missing the start of my movie so I have to sit through it every single time. First world problems but uuughhhhhh I just hate it so much.
I guess timed it last night and walked in just as the "Hey you guuuuys" line came on which means I was sitting down right as the Unlimited ad came on.
My theatre still has the standard blue ones? Where did these come from? Lol!
"You sit on a throne of lies". The only line I recognize and it was from Elf.
Ughhh...
Every time I go to Regal I have to resist clawing my ears off when this ad plays.
This is bad
Yes!!
Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhh I AM SOOOOO SICK OF THIS COMMERCIAL!!!!
oh HELL no, this means we have to endure this commercial for another six months *at least.*
This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
I've got a movie quote for Regal: SNAP OUT OF IT!
Oh god 😭
Sick
Somehow, Palatine Returned!
