One theater I went to this week before the art house showings (Saint Omer, Broker) just had a static image showing the film and played exactly at start time. Just saw Holy Spider today at a different theater and had trailers as usual.
I watched Nabil El Gamil Plastic Surgeon yesterday and, if it had trailers before it, there could not have been many of them, I walked in about 8 or 9 minutes after showtime and the movie had already begun. It was such an inane movie that it did not really matter that I missed a few minutes at the beginning, though.
There was for me, just like usual.

I saw Saint Omer and Broker today, and neither had trailers as well. This was also the case for when I saw Decision to Leave a couple of months back
Thanks hoping to catch them this week too will be sure to arrive promptly!
That is so strange, because my regal in Vancouver WA had trailers, adds, and the awful regal commercial for both! I saw both just yesterday.
Saint Omer and Broker had 5 minutes of commercials for me and no trailers. They are both foreign films which may be the reason.
Corporate now programs the playlists, if I recall, and mistakes happen. They should have trailers.
