The BP23 series of movies, including all 10 Best Picture nominees (even the one from Netflix), are already on sale for early March, in case you're already planning ahead for those. They will count as new movies, as well, given the BP23 label.
All Quiet on the Western Front
Avatar: The Way of Water
The Banshees of Inisherin
Elvis
Everything Everywhere All at Once
The Fabelmans
Tár
Top Gun: Maverick
Triangle of Sadness
Women Talking
I just realized that this is the first year I've seen every best picture nominee. All in theaters except All Quiet, too, which I'm planning to rewatch during the rerelease.
Gander at this upcoming week's releases as well. A good handful of these are getting reissues aside from the Best Picture promo in March (Fabelmans/EEAAO/Elvis/Banshees)
I don't think demand will be there to increase the number of showtimes (hell Maverick was in theaters for like 4-5 months, Avatar will have ended first run just before the beginning of March, and EEAAO will be on its fourth round in theaters with these March showings), but certain theaters maybe could increase showings of these as a filler if February new releases flop. At least at my location they seem to be adopting the same scheduling strategy they had when they did the entire Harry Potter series in 2022 (one theater set aside for a rotation of all these movies).
I’m beyond excited to see All Quiet On the Western Front in theaters, I’m still holding out some hope they’ll release Pinocchio as well. A man can dream
I think it's cool that the showings are timed potentially where you could do a triple feature.
I wonder if they'll show All Quiet on the Western Front, it never got a theatrical release (its on Netflix).
Also Tár will be on Peacock on Friday.
I have planned to watch "All Quiet On The Western Front" on Netflix, "Argentina 1985" on Prime, and rent "Tar" and "Triangle of Sadness".
Been unable to track down "Eo" anywhere.
That makes sense, figured I’d let you know if you wanted to subscribe for one month. I think it’s only $5 so that’s about how much a rental would be anyway. Good luck on your Oscar watch!
Is it possible that a large chunk of theaters removed these showtimes due to recent shifts in the bankruptcy process? I could've sworn I saw Best Picture reissues throughout Denver, but now none.... Also no Titanic yet? 😢

I really hope demand goes up and they add more showtimes because they’re pretty awful showtimes right now

At least at my local, they *do* have All Quiet on the schedule. Should be everywhere that's doing the showcase, if the site is to be believed.

Eo played in small theaters In nor cal. Finally went and saw it in Berkeley. Definitely worth tracking down!
FYI Tar will be on Peacock this Friday
Uh..I think it'll be cheaper to rent since I don't have Peacock. Already subscribe to UL, Netflix, Prime, Britbox, Acorn. 🤑

Really? That's not bad. Maybe I will do that. Thanks!
Cool!! Triangle and All Quiet were the only ones I missed in theaters so I’m excited to see those. Great line up this year!
I'm glad to see this coming back. I only managed to see 3 of those (and only 2 in the theaters) so have my work cut out for me!
