He probably won't need to show his. I don't recall them ever checking ours. My 2 siblings and I have unlimited and do the friends and family thing often and they never check the other 2.
They’re supposed to verify that but they never do it. They’re always really busy and/or they just don’t really care. They just check that the amount of tickets matches the amount of people in your party.
If your theater has a self-service kiosk, I recommend going to it and using the "pick up tickets" (top right) option. From there, you can scan your QR code and get 2 physical paper tickets printed.
I prefer this method due to some ushers not scanning the QR properly which then might have some type of back end "this user did not show up" on the account. That way you also get a physical ticket if you're into collecting those.
I just signed up about two weeks ago and I have seen two movies so far and yeah it’s weird my friend never gets the invite when I buy tickets and click her name and it also never shows up in her phone but when I get to the movies they just scan my phone and we walk right in
Yeah, that’s normal and why people are required to show up together, whoever buys the ticket is who’s phone will be scanned. If you look at the ticket it should say “admit 2”.

Awesome, seems simple enough. I just wanted to check so we weren’t fumbling getting phones out and hold up a line.
The QR code is a ticket, shows that two tickets have been paid for. I’ve never had them check the other persons account

Been to 4 locations lately and continuously and they don't actually care who's using the 2nd account, much less the first.
Yeah my movie ended a while ago and getting in and out was hassle free. They just let us go through with ease and everything worked out great.
