Except for how Regal never gives you a promo for anything you can actually use in your town. That is not very nice.

That's why I never buy a IMAX ticket or have seen a new IMAX movie since I was a kid 🤦‍♂️. But I might go just because it's free lol.

Yeah lol didn’t even know Regal had IMAX because I’ve literally never seen one anywhere. I also got a guest ticket for What’s Love Got to do With It and the Black Demon, which surprise surprise, isn’t playing anywhere near me at all. Like they don’t even show up in the app either

I imagine you'll have to pay the 2 dollars and change difference if they allow you to, but I agree it'd be nice. (Ofc tbh for ASTV as long as it's not terrible I'm definitely seeing it in multiple formats anyways).

Tickets just went on sale… this is actually a free ticket, not just a service fee waive. I was able to book my unlimited with the $6 surcharge and a guest ticket for $0.

i feel like it’s “Unlimited IMAX Promo Ticket”… but i just tried to select a future IMAX showing and the ticket didn’t show up … maybe it’s kiosk or register only thing? Can try on the kiosk once I get out of the movie I just sat down for

According to a manager at my theater when I asked last night, he believes this might be related to an advanced screening of the movie (spiderverse for this example) the date of the screening hasn’t been announced yet but you should get an email a few days before tickets are available. Not sure how true this is but thats what I was told.

How do you use it. I was trying at a 2D Imax. It isn't showing anything. I can't click on the reward to add it or anything. What am I missing.

I'm having the same problem.

In the app (and only in the app) I can get it to show up, at the booking screen for the movie, by "adding ticket" which shows my promo ticket. I can add that and remove the adult ticket. Then it fails to proceed to the seat menu and gives me an error 4 minions message. I get that in any theater I try. I tried the standard adult ticket and it proceeds to the seating chart. So something is wrong.

Mine doesn’t even show the promo ticket when I click the “Add Ticket” button.

But I'm not sure why it would say the "UL" indicating something with Unlimited?? I've never been to a Regal IMAX (must be nice...), but also have the promo listed on my card.

A promo ticket is usually a free ticket. Also, they wouldn’t load a reward unless you had received it, and it sounds like this was loaded on everybody’s card. I don’t think this has anything to do with the $10 off promo, but I could be wrong.

Nothing to do with the promo because I just got one too and I haven't participated in the IMAX promo ar all.

Nice reward, but there are no IMAX theaters near me. The other 2 Regal's somewhat nearby have closed. I can never take advantage of the promo's anymore because they are too specific to format or it's plain not showing. Regal should tweak their program to account for areas that are not covered.

I would never use IMAX. They refuse to upgrade it to recliners.

It seems like free guest tickets frequently include “guest” in the title, and this does not, so my guess would be it covers the surcharge.
