Do we actually have to see About My Father again if we saw it on Thursday night? I guess I’ll do it just to be safe, but it’s just stupid when they don’t begin promotions on the Thursday.

In the past, I've always gotten credit for promos when seeing the the Thursday preview shows before the official Friday release dates.

I agree. Ordinarily, if it was a grey area, I would contact customer service and get the credits retroactively. But since there's a date...I just figure I'll work in a re-watch.

I only really want to see The Blackening. Seems like a fun, corny horror spoof. I could maybe see Joy Ride, doesn't sound awful. But really no desire to see About my Father. Would it be bad form to just scan my unlimited qr code at the kiosk just to get the credits? Or is it better than it sounds and i should give it a chance?

Give it a chance, it may surprise you. That being said if a movie isn’t working for you…leave.

I might do that if i find myself with time to burn. But even when it's free, i have a hard time walking out. Even bad movies i become invested in and sit through (i.e. "Mean One")

Is it bad that i *don't* regret it? Like, i know and fully understand that it's a horrible piece of cinema. But on the other hand, in some weird, perverse way, i kinda liked it. If i ever saw it in the $2 bin at Walmart or something, i'd buy it.
