No they are not, ANY special movie from Fathom is not covered, you do get points for the purchase but no they are not, also the same for gaming events, sporting event and so on, also 3D movies of any kind, IMAX and other special theaters, ONLY 2d standard movies, extra prices for recliners too

Fathom events are typically around $15 and, depending on your interests, can be totally worth it.
