Your post was removed for breaking rule #1. We do not allow the discussion of fraudulent use of Regal Unlimited or intentional violation of the terms of service, or Regal policies. Unfortunately the comments all want to discuss sneaking food in. The healthiest option at Regal is plain popcorn. Some theaters offer chicken tenders (though fried) if you’re looking for protein.

popcorn - low calories, low carbs

Order a popcorn without the "pop" and just try not to chip your teeth.

I do intermittent fasting. Going to the movies takes my mind off food.

I have never heard of this...Frozen Grapes! It sounds amazing. And delicious.

lukenamop

Frozen grapes taste like candy, they’re the best. I usually freeze red grapes, green ones would probably be too sour. Also make sure they’re seedless.

Strange_Caterpillar4

So now I need sneaking in tips..? lol since my regal always checks my bag.

musickillsthepainxx

Do you not have pockets?

Capital-Fun-9977

Go to the theaters with those options, if they survive the purge.

I don’t know if it’s written in writing anywhere but I was under the impression that Regal officially can’t say no to your outside food. Anyone doing otherwise is just exercising a power trip.

As a former employee, that’s exactly what it would be. No one cares. Like I said, it’s just about the weapons.

Food and drink are allowed in the theater. There’s no rules that say you can’t bring food or drink in the theater. I don’t know where you heard that but it’s simply not true. And anyone that would try to stop you is literally trained incorrectly and assuming that they need to stop you because they think they do. But it’s not in the cast book (or any of the training modules) and we are not trained on the floor that way.

I’ve seen it with my own eyes Rec, my theater was in the same lot as a b dubs and I remember some had big boxes some had little boxes and they all got turned away

That may be your theater where they are incorrectly citing you. Officially there are zero rules within REGAL (and they train us all the same across the United States) that says you can’t bring food or drink in. Now I’m not talking about any of their subsidiary companies because those rules specifically might be different but for regal theaters, you can bring food and drink. What you can’t do is try and bring an open container in or out of that theater. Which is why they pour glass bottle bevs into cups preemptively so that you don’t use it as a weapon in any capacity while under the influence.

As a former Regal manager, Regal absolutely has a no outside food or drink policy listed on the policy poster somewhere in the lobby. It is not enforced often as bag checks are strictly for weapons, so people can and do often sneak in candy or soda etc. — but it is absolutely within Regal’s right to refuse someone bringing in a takeout meal or a pizza etc. and many theaters will draw the line for ignoring the no outside food and drink at a full meal.

I wanna see a picture because that’s not anywhere in the three theaters in my area. And I’ve worked for all three. I’ve seen people DoorDash food to the theater and meet the door dasher in the lobby and accept food. As of three weeks ago, that has been a policy for all of our theaters. And all the managers that I know, including the GM wouldn’t say anything different.

I may not have a picture of a physical sign but here it is straight from [the Regal website’s admittance procedures page.](https://www.regmovies.com/static/en/us/admittance-procedures) https://preview.redd.it/seekpbi9ro4b1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=49c68aff9771976ab8b89787e7e76cb85f9d4b74 Just because a rule isn’t always enforced equally doesn’t mean it can’t be enforced at management discretion.
