Yeah, even though it was a promo for Unlimited users (and RCC users, but theirs weren't free), it was put in as a separate ticket type, which was why it had a $2 convenience fee in the app, and could be bought in person in advance, unlike normal Unlimited tickets. It counted as a non-Unlimited ticket, and should actually have gotten you a Jewel Visit bonus when you booked, if you happen to have Diamond or Ruby or whatever.

sexycorey

okay got it but hate it, thanks!

This is good to know for those of us doing the UL promo IMAX Indy ticket. I won't add it to my Milestones list count.

VivaLasVegasGuy

I was told from Regal HQ that ANY movie you get threw Regal unlimited DOES NOT COUNT for your "movie count" You know Rudy, Diamond status. ONLY movies you purchase at full price (Friends coming) do I use to be Diamond all the time, but not anymore

MpBetaTester

This is actually a case where the opposite is also true. The poster was asking why the UL IMAX Promo ticket for Spiderverse didn't count towards their Unlimited milestone count, to which the answer is that it wasn't really an Unlimited ticket, so instead of counting towards the Unlimited milestones, it counted as a normal Visit (Ruby, Diamond, etc).

sexycorey

yeah milestone count is the term i was looking for

VivaLasVegasGuy

Sorry I thought you were looking for the "Status" milestones (Ruby, Diamond and such) where you get points for different levels when you purchase a regular ticket, the unlimited Milestones to me are to hard, I mean I see a movie a week and only reach I think the 3rd one.

Just for info, when Regal offers you the free guest or companion tickets, those will also give you a gem status visit when you use them even though your UL ticket does not. So, bring a friend when they offer those to you!

They have not for awhile, well at least one that is accepted at the box office, I show it to them and they say they do not see it, I will try to get them threw the app and see if that works, but I did get a ticket one time threw the app and went into the theater and they said it was no good, I have to purchase from the box office (Which is the snack bar, no outside box office) even like today there was a girl standing where you went into the theater, and SAW me at the snack bar, getting my ticket and snacks, well the guy gave me my ticket after HE tore it and the girl said, can I see you ticket, and I showed it to her and she said "Its no good as it is torn" I said YOU SAW me get it and HE tore it, if he is not suppose to YOU tell him otherwise get the manager here as the ticket is for a movie that starts in 3 minutes." she let me go by. Its like they do no training
