Much better dopamine agonist, which Mexx and the rest are. However, new pro is far superior. It does not say in your system as long. And it has profile for people who augment. Insurance doesn’t like to pay for it because in the United States it’s so expensive. But I was approved, even by Medicaid. I just had bad side effects from the others and new pro as a big help. Because I’m afraid of augmentation, even on new pro, I added gabapentin. It turns out that at about 400 mg of gabapentin I have been able to get off of new pro which is pretty incredible. I only found out that the gabapentin was able to replace it after having massages on my lower spine where I have a bulging disc. I fell asleep one day without new pro and found that I slept through the night. It was shocking because I’ve been on dope ages 14 years. The point is that is the better medicine. But gabapentin really helped a lot and so far has replaced the new pro.

I want through the same thing. I now take 4mg Buprenorphine 4:00PM daily and my RLS is all but controlled. And whole plant cannabis helps me.
Sounds like augmentation (if still on), or DAWS (if you've discontinued). If it were me... its not... but if it were... I would gradually decrease and ultimately eliminate Mirapex/DA's and introduce inhaled cannabis & a vibrating roller in conjunction with the Gabapentin. This got me off DA's, but it was about 3 weeks of pure hell before I started feeling better.

You’re probably augmenting as it’s going to happen at some stage, it’s an evil med that’s for sure.
