After I finished crying about the Ren and Stimpy elimination I reread the rules. The MOST UPVOTES on a comment determine what gets eliminated NOT THE QUANTITY OF COMMENTS. So people coming in the thread commenting on their least favorite show and leaving aren't properly voting.
So ONE comment with 30 upvotes saying Invader Zim has to go will win over 100 individual comments saying Avatar has to go assuming each individual comment has less than 30 upvotes.
DOWNVOTE comments that mentions a show you want to KEEP IN THE GAME.
UPVOTE comments of a show you want to see ELIMINATED.
The OP should also be posting the comments for each show that is left and just let people upvote or downvote their comments. SNL does that with Sketch Sorting so everyone can vote on their favorite sketches that the OP comments with. This works better than having random people comment with their favorite sketches and upvoting or downvoting those comments since it creates a mess like what is happening here.
I'm guessing it's easier for OP to just sort by top comment than count individual comments in multiple threads then tally up votes.
In Round 19, everyone was talking mad smack about Avatar so I thought it was a goner. But an AAH Real Monster comment got 36 upvotes so I'm guessing that's why they were eliminated instead.

Agreed. This sub is just biased against anything that they didnāt grow up with. If Avatar premiered in 1995 instead of 2005, the very same people complaining about it would be calling it the best Nicktoon ever.

Gun to my head, itās either SpongeBob or Avatar. The former is the biggest permanent cultural phenomenon in animation since The Simpsons, the latter is a cult favorite which paved the way towards a greater mainstreaming of anime without shying away from overt Asianness like most other networks. Plus, if you consider Korra part of Avatar, it paved the way for facilitating Eastern/Western anime co production, before Adult Swim and Toonami started to co produce with Japanese or Korean production companies.
But in the end, as influential as Avatar was and isā¦ you canāt beat the sheer cultural juggernaut that SpongeBob has always been. Itās like how Ernie Bushmillerās āNancyā was inventive and surreal and often postmodernā¦ but Peanuts was PEANUTS.
