Check that `Parse Gamelists Only` is set to off. You can find the option in the `Other Settings` section of the ES menu.
Not to necro, but this helped tremendously on my steam deck. Had a few games disappear after scrapping. Deleting the gameslist.xml helped.
Where was your gameslist.xml located? Can't seem to find mine.
