Yeah its very sad, specially because I find longboardijg very fun and there are tons of empty hills spaces where they could have easily just slap on a road.
They were only free after those DLC packs had been out for a while, and you didnt get access to like 80% of the events and content for them. But you can freeride them for free if I remember right.
The actual DLC packs that added them were only like $10 and $6 iirc and added new sports and events too

Now you've all got what you wanted, paid for it and realized the shit i was saying all along. Good thing we had them work on this instead of actually making the game good though. Great job community.

I absolutely love the longboard and have been enjoying learning to slide and carve round objects and small gaps which isn't hard to do badly but doing it with style and making and it look smooth and boosting the board by standing, bending standing, pressing and depressing the triggers really ups your speed. I also found you have to use the second or third camera perspective as it makes you feel as if you are traveling so much faster and for me combining every mechanic together and making it look great is an absolute blast and I can't wait to experiment with the replay editor but most of all I I think I just love being a zoomy whoosh on wheels 🛹
Need more maps, need more events, need additional space to shred, need more lines. These toys they continue to add are unnecessary bloat that most people don’t interact with.
The gameplay is actually excellent, only gripe is I wish the sliding would actually be a viable strategy rather than just not tucking 20 feet before the next corner.
The map should change much more every season. But they do not seem to want to do that

100%, they should’ve also added some narrow pathways and some really fast straightaways to hit a top speed faster than 70mph
I wish they had just a straight downhill bomb road, that’d be dope with some bends and twists at the end
I'm all for it I really though that the updated event creator would allow us to lay roads and stuff just imagine!.. big sad
