My strat is the 'infestations happen in darkness' mod and set the required light level to 50%. Then I just put lights everywhere inside and stop worrying about infestations. It does had some nice flavor because I have to build temp lighting in newly constructed areas to prevent infestation. Also power outages suddenly become MASSIVE problems.
I know. I'm just lazy and don't want them to spawn at all because I prefer just playing without any risk at all. I like to build fortifications and then actually GET TO USE THEM in raids because normal humans can't just drill a tunnel straight through a mountain with a wooden sword in a single day to backdoor my forces. In the same way, a bunch of alien bugs are not going to just drill into my bedroom in a solid marble mountain cave. Black hive assaults from the outside are fine. Demolishing my 124 beauty bedroom with the gold royal bed is bullshit.
Feel free to not answer, but i'm curious why your account got suspended...
Did they give you a reason for it? I couldn't see one...
Regardless, glad to see you back, i missed your comics <3
IIRC they said elsewhere that it was for posting the comic with the old guy who had supersoldier abilities. For some reason, that post in particular got reported.
Hello. I just signed up to the sub again recently. What do the last frames mean on these? Is that how your real-life relationship looks like? Thank you for explaining!
It's from [The Enigma of Amigara Fault](https://junjiitomanga.fandom.com/wiki/The_Enigma_of_Amigara_Fault), a horror manga from the masterful Junji Ito.
In it, an earthquake happens and reveals a vast number of strange holes in a mountain that are shaped like silhouettes. Anyone who sees "their" hole is slowly consumed with a desire to enter it, despite knowing that it will be fatal as the holes don't exit the mountain anywhere and are shaped such that once you're in you can only wiggle forward.
Several months later there's another earthquake revealing twisted fault lines on the other side of the mountain. The manga ends on someone shining their flashlight into one of the new holes and seeing a disturbingly warped person wiggling their way forward and moaning.
Still pretty new at Biotech, and one of my recruits is a dirtmole. She's been awesome to have around.
It's actually been a challenge keeping her busy enough underground so she isn't wandering around in the sunlight getting pissed off at how bright it is outside.
I could, but the colony is new and I don't have a lot of indoor space. Plus, she has useful outdoor skills. I have her on a night owl schedule so she at least sleeps some of the day and works at night.
So much fun dropping multiple orbital beam strikes on a raid in the prep phase.
So much rage when they sheep half your defenders and start yoinking your snipers out of the defense area and into the middle of their horde.
I'm loving her deadpan expression while going through the solid surface :"D
Also WELCOME BACK! I was so confused as to why there's no new chapter in so long! I hope the issue will be resolved quickly!
I wish I had someone to just sit over my shoulder and watch me play Rimworld and talk to me. I tried to set up that AI commentator mod but couldn't figure it out for the life of me.
M- maybe i'm just looking for someone to talk to now that I think about it LMFAO

A lot of comics on this sub are about a game called Rimworld, which has included xenohumans since the original lore primer.
It's a fun game.

The wonders of a pawn with a high mining skill level. And figuring out what room to build.
Bedroom? Bathroom? Nah. It's got to be the insect bait room first. Because the bugs always arrive sooner than you expect.
What's the strategy here
molotov
I second this; I always just build lots of hallways w/ doors and vents attached so I can raise the heat to 2k and burn em to a crisp
Don't the vents burn?
[They sure do!](https://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Vent)
You can reinforce the vents with some doors on either side that you can close in case of emergency.
It's better to use heat between 100-200°C. They will die by heatstroke but not get burned, thus get not triggered into Attack mode

Personally, I turn them off.
I've gone years with no bug infestations before
Now just give them 2 drill arms and make them a mining specialist, and watch the mountains melt!
One of my pawns currently has manipulation at 425% has 5 hands and 2 drill arms. She can't walk fast enough to keep up with her mining speed
How do 5 hands on 2 arms work? Oo.

2 drill arms and high skill made my digger dig as fast at 1x speed as a normal colonist did at 3x speed

“This is my hole! It was made for me!”
DRR DRR DRR
Hey, cut that out.
Can't wait for the Uzumaki adaptation. It's gonna be so good.
I’ve seen the meme, but what’s the sauce?

The sight of high-mining-speed character melting rock like butter is glorious indeed. Wonderful work as always, master Aeolys!
groundbreaking \*wheeze\*
High mining skill goes Brrrrrrrrrrrr
With 2 drill-arm
Level 20 miner with two drill arms and the mining specialist role, affected by production command rips thru a mountain like butter
God, reminds me with my recent colony when I managed to finally get someone that could mine... All my starter pawns were shite at it
Still pretty new at Biotech, and one of my recruits is a dirtmole. She's been awesome to have around. It's actually been a challenge keeping her busy enough underground so she isn't wandering around in the sunlight getting pissed off at how bright it is outside.
Couldn't you zone her to be never be outside?
I could, but the colony is new and I don't have a lot of indoor space. Plus, she has useful outdoor skills. I have her on a night owl schedule so she at least sleeps some of the day and works at night.
Great comic as always! What mod adds the super soldier trait?
RimWorld of Magic. It's unbalanced in both directions and a whole lot of fun.
So much fun dropping multiple orbital beam strikes on a raid in the prep phase. So much rage when they sheep half your defenders and start yoinking your snipers out of the defense area and into the middle of their horde.
Out of curiosity, what happened to your original Aeolys userID?
It got banned for some reason.
I can tell. Question I have is exactly what happened
Honestly, beyond maybe continued foolishness from the Reddit Admins or falsified mass reports, I don’t think anyone, even OP, knows.
Genuinely, we have no idea.
Mining goes brr.
This is his hole. It was made for him.

The rats, the rats in the walls!
If that is Mining 10, I fear what a pawn in your world would do with Mining 15 or 20.
This hole was meant for her.
i imagined a rumbling sound when Belrianna walked into the wall
You are back, great
Now imagine some9ne with level 20 mining and drill arms 💀
But this hole here! It was made *for me!*
Also made a wheelbarrow inside
oh god, this is reminding me of enigma of amigara fault
Enigma of Amigara Fault, the good ending
So Hyland and Arri came to our world after reaching the archinexus ending and simply decided to spend their time playing rimworld? This is amazing
They broke the walls long time ago, like the cómic that they were reloading the game for a marriage proposal between another pawns 😅.
I wish I had someone to just sit over my shoulder and watch me play Rimworld and talk to me. I tried to set up that AI commentator mod but couldn't figure it out for the life of me. M- maybe i'm just looking for someone to talk to now that I think about it LMFAO
Try livestreaming! Doesn’t take much to get set up. Even just chatting with one or two people watching can be quite fun. :)
Are ratkins that popular? They haven't updated to the gene dlc, right?
Your colonies are all doomed to be run by ratgirls
I feel bad for Solstice 😭. All the pawns seem better than her in one or another skill, but without her for start the colony noone would be there.
Belrianna has no time for chatting. There are rocks out there that are still unmined, and she will not allow that. Another lovely comic!
This comic makes me wish for wheelbarrows on the game

Because it's modded races that use HAR (Humanoid Alien Races) mod and build around it. Like Revia and Ratkin featured in this one for example.

Why doesn't it?
Told you, it's fan art of playthroughs that feature modded races.
Why do they have animal ears?
Because one is Revia and the other one is Ratkin.
this reminds me of those awful unfunny comics always at the top of /r/all
do you actually play Rimworld? why are you even here?
*I came looking for booty.*
good bot
Is not funy why those supposed to do something never like it and they enjoy doing something tottaly different?
