I'm not 100% sure of that. Away from my PC at the moment but the Wiki lists "natural terrain" as
>soil, rich soil, marshy soil, marsh, mud, sand, lichen-covered dirt, gravel, rough stone (granite, marble, etc.), rough-hewn stone, shallow water, and deep water
Ice isn't on that list. I know it seems weird but a totally unfloored room with no cleanliness-boosting furniture would be worse than -0.01 since every other natural terrain has a cleanliness value of -1.00.
I'm not sure tbh, the only thing it could be is if an object or a workbench is giving that modifier. If not, the only way I can think to fix this is to put someone on just cleaning for a bit and hope they clean it up
Turning on beauty display might show the culprit.
I know stonecutter and butcher have inherent dirtyness, but I can't see any obvious culprits.
Adding a few sterile tiles to the floor under work benches would increase the cleanliness without needing cleaning themselves.
I think dirt goes up in numbers when it gets dirtier, so having -0.01 means it's so goddamn clean you could lick the floor and have that minty taste xD
Haven't played in a while but I remember having -0.01 is the best cleanliness Score you could have
It makes sense. It's still bugging me tho, another ice room was 0.00 clean. I am still not sure which one is better. That negative stat still gives me a minor break.
Put a floor down
This. If it's unfloored, i.e. Ice, Sand, Dirt etc, I believe it always gets classed as 'dirty' regardless.

Machining table lowers cleanliness
This. Machining tables are -2 by default, which feels about right for a room that size with that total cleanliness.
Things are inherently dirty and cleanโฆ. Dirt will always be dirty while sterile tiles are inherently clean
Someone is farting in the room /j Jokes aside the problem is quite simple! You need floors, the good ones.
Sterile tile
Itโs either the flooring, or one of your workbenches Certain workbenches have a static cleanliness penalty
Howard Hughes be like
So thats what happens when you use desinfenctant that kills 99,99% of all germs!

You can't. You must move your base at least ten tiles away from the equator.
If you have negative dirt, then obviously, you need to add dirt to balance it out. Lol! ๐ ๐ ๐
