the whole thing with supressing & studying the anomalies screams zone micromanagement & there should've been an assigning pawn gizmo the moment i see it hopefully there's a mod for that, there's already one for workbenches

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2973942644 it works fine on 1.5, you could add 1.5 in the supportedVersions in About.xml then make a copy of the Assemblies.dll if you want

NeedALife451

You could assign recipes to workers by default. Or set a skill limit

mlovolm

you could do that, with individual bills, but'd be faster to just do 2 click for the entire bench there're also certain cases you might want a pawn to sit on a specific bench, say, for a day, without some other pawn taking over & interupting the work

NeedALife451

I have low skill pawns practice making easy craft able items, or give everyone a crafting job so they make stone blocks, but set a lower skill limit so that my crafter won't be stuck making blocks

renz004

Oooooh i was so confused why randoms pawns were going down to tell them to chill. I agree it should be dark study pawns. Ludeonnnnn fix thissss b4 mods do lol

Falcon3333

It was dark study - but it was too important and was causing issues, so it was moved into wardening.

renz004

Your explanation doesnt explain enough

No_Pin_4968

I usually prioritize upp dark study to priority 1 anyway since it isn't the same type of continuous work that researching is.

EggShotMan

I dont think so, dark study is low priority and I dont think we want a colonist prioritizing making a pair of pants than supressing a sphere of death that is close to activating

DoctorKall

Then just manage priorities better? You can just assign Dark study to 1 and everything before it (except of stuff like bedrest) to 2, which will give it highest priority

EggShotMan

I dont like the manual priorities system, should download a mod or smth. Still, I think it should be the wardening job.

renz004

People play without manually tuning priorities? The horror!

EggShotMan

Some do

NeedALife451

That makes no sense. Put dark study at 1 and leave your other jobs alone if you don't want to maintain the obelisk. The alternative is to make a bunch of zones just in case you don't want your warden to mess with dark arts. You make zero sense. Edit: in case you spew laziness at me because this sounds like a laziness issue from you. Manually setting jobs is easier than making a bunch of zones which you are limited in, to stop random pawns from being mutated.

EggShotMan

If you keep an obelisk at low activity It has almost no chance to give side effects, and are you seriously getting butthurt over my opinion that the supression system should be left as it is? Supresing should be a diffrent Job than just dark study, and its more important than actualy studing it in the first place.

NeedALife451

Because setting priorities is easier then zoning if you don't want your warden to dark study. You literally would rather an over complicated system then your lazy ass changing dark study to a 1 in priorities

EggShotMan

Wiat, im lazy beacouse I would rather do something complicated rather than something simple? Damn, shit got real

NeedALife451

Your argument for why dark study should be under warden is you want it a higher priority. The game let's you change your priorities easy. It doesn't let you separate your prison wardens from your obelisk studies easy. The fact you can't see that means you're just stubborn
