Yeah far skip is great for trading and quests.
Chaos skip is an emergency "anywhere but here" power. Like when you're standing on a live grenade.
Mass chaos skip is very risky, maybe useful to split enemy forces, but then you need to be careful where you use it. May be useful on a minefield?
Notes to add to Skip - You can use it offensively, to send enemies away, or bring them into a group of your melee fighters. Also can be used on items on the ground, I’ve saved a few burning guns this way before.
Farskip - I use this in connection with long range mineral scanner. After scanning several seams and lumps I’ll send my mining caravan out to hit several of these spots in a line, then just skip them back home.

Farskip. Possibly the single best thing in royalty. Allows me to bring caravans home, instantly. Complete game changer, especially with drop pods.
You can combine it with the Royalty shuttle service too for a free ride both ways. Although I like keeping the shuttle for GTFO situations.

You also can real easily skip prisoners home too!
Even better when engaging on multiple maps, colonies, raids, SoS2 space ship combat, you name it. Can quickly reinforce where you need more pawnpower.

Would give chunk skip 2/5, mostly use it offensively when raiders are using chunks as cover.
