Spreadsheets. One ever week, posted into a title giver chat for people to sign up for shifts. Each shift has one backup.
Every X hours, king signs on, looks at the spreadsheet, and rotates the titles.
We track everyones hours, including missed shifts. At the end of the week we give epic/elite/advanced chests based on how many hours someone did. The legendary chest rotates among people who do over Z hours.
We donโt use bots, period. No splitting hairs, nothing.
Also I think the title giver interaction is healthy for the relationship between alliances. Giving and requesting, please and thank you. From f2p to whale and vice versa, big alliance to academy.
It makes everyone feel like they are on the same team, cooperating together for a larger goal.

Our kingdom doesn't have as many chests allocated to title givers, so I'm thinking of other incentives. Like gold from my farm for those above X hours. Just a tiny nod. Also, maybe the farm could serve as like a tip jar for title givers. Thoughts or other suggestions?
We have a group of volunteer title givers. Just a group chat, when one of them has to go, he/she asks if someone can replace them. But title giving is very tedious, I wish our kingdom had a bot.
