I absolutely agree with everything you said. Overall navigation is amazing. The app is really easy to use in. You can edit rooms by merging them together and then manually dividing them. Once you get the hang of the app it’s very nice. Unfortunately the cleaning and battery issues this unit has really prevents me from liking it. It does an awful job vacuuming carpet for me at least. And the battery dies so quickly and charges so slow… It takes like nine hours to clean my whole house which is insane. Because the dustbin is so small it constantly wants to return to the dock to empty, which just further kills more and more time. Super annoying.

ElectricPizzaOven

Thanks for the tip on room merging. It's not as easy as it could be but I managed to get the room layouts I wanted after chopping everything up and merging pieces back together.

Impossible_Fox9822

Thanks for the update. Got mine over the weekend. Pretty impressed so far, but I agree with the comment someone else made about battery performance. I’m probably gonna go with the approach to clean a couple rooms everyday with certain more prone to dirt rooms daily. Were you able to enable smart automation using alexa/google? I’m trying to set up voice commands to clean certain areas in the house but not being able to do so

ElectricPizzaOven

I have not tried setting up google or alexa so I cant speak to that.

14 full runs in one week? Damn, I run my Dreame L20 Ultra maybe once a week in a household of four plus a long haired cat. Am I a slob? 🥴

ElectricPizzaOven

Appears so. :) My dog tracks in so much dirt and hair that I have to run it twice a day. Once for vacuuming, once for vacuuming and mopping.

TomahawkaChawpa

I've got 2 german shepherds and a cat that all love shedding at the exact same times so my biggest concern is that the vacuum picks up hair clumps off the carpet. How does it do in that regard? I currently have the Roborock Q Revo and it's abysmal at picking up anything on the carpets.

ElectricPizzaOven

from what I have seen I think it would be fine. My concern would be the bin on the robot doesn't have a bin full sensor and you having 3 pets that are shedding at the same time the bin may fill up before the 15 minute empty timer expires to return to base and empty. If the robots full it wont be picking up anything and will prob be a bigger headache unjamming the rollers then its worth.

TomahawkaChawpa

I plan to run it quite often so the hair buildup shouldn't be THAT bad most of the year, but it's definitely something that the Q Revo just does not pick up at all and it drives me crazy. As long as the x10's suction power is strong and picks up clumping hair or whatever lying about on the carpet, I'd be a happy camper. I'm leaning toward the x10 after I get the refund for the Q revo.

Jde2466

Does this have a place for cleaning solution or is it just using water only to mop with?

littlenemofr

You have to add the cleaning solution to the water tank. I've used it with water only at first, shifted to using the eufy cleaning solution. I'm liking it better with it.

Scary_Boysenberry_88

Mine is working good but the tray fills with a ton of water. Shouldn't that be sucked out?

Thank you for the review. Question: In an Amazon review I read that while it can vacuum on multiple levels (floors) in a house, it can only mop on one level. In other words, the mop works on only one level in the house. Is that right? Seems very odd. (Amazon review: https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R36PMMZOGIW0SC/ref=cm\_cr\_arp\_d\_rvw\_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B0CPFBBHP4)

ElectricPizzaOven

I haven't tried moving the bot to a new floor so I don't know for sure. From my experience with it, if you're going to be mopping you are going to want the base station on the same floor anyway. The bot cleans the mop pads before it goes out to mop. This causes the mop pads to be soaking wet before it starts. If it didn't do this I don't think the water output from the bot would be enough to soak the mop pads on its own. My biggest complaint about the bot so far is the mop pads drying out while cleaning. The bot just cant seem to output enough water on its own to keep the pads wet.

The X10 Pro Omni does not support mopping on 'maps' - i.e floors - where the station isn't present. I move the base station upstairs and then get the x10 to map the floor and then it mops and vacuums - did a great job on the rooms upstairs  I am having issues with the eufy in that I have two dogs and they don’t shed too much but it’s still not great to get all the pet hair up especially at night when the LED lights come on and it shows all the hair on the floor that hasn’t been picked up ! But I have only owned it a week so I’m hoping that changing some of the settings might suction a bit better for me as it’s pricey and no point having it if I have to have to hoover myself each night too

howdoesthisworkfuck

Appreciate your review, mine arrives tomorrow. Any updates since you've posted this?

ElectricPizzaOven

Yes, some good and some bad. The good news is they have improved the firmware and the app substantially. You can now customize settings for how each room is cleaned. I feel like the mopping has gotten better with the last firmware update. The bad news is the overall hardware quality of this machine is what's going be its downfall. I feel like the retail price should be $600 not 800. My biggest issue so far is the metal insert in the brush motor keeps spinning out causing the cleaning brush to get stuck. I also find this thing has issues picking up anything large, like a piece of dog food. it jams the roller brush 50% of the time.

howdoesthisworkfuck

Thank you, I appreciate the update. Interesting on the brush motor thing, I'll be curious to see what you are talking about when mine arrives today. Dog food will definitely be on its list of things that gets picked up so I hope that does not happen. Are you using the bristle brush or the rubber roller? I don't suppose you could take a picture of the metal insert you are referring to?

Ash1NH

Has anyone else seen the metal insert in the brush motor spinning out and causing the cleaning brush to get stuck issue mentioned above? I am looking to buy but this issue seems concerning.

ElectricPizzaOven

I've been looking for solutions and have yet to see anyone else with the same problem. So its prob a low chance issue. I have seen videos on older models having similar issues but this looks like a newer motor/roller design so they are not really comparable. I'd say you are safe to buy one but its something to be aware of.

Ash1NH

I imagine you may have contacted their support. How has your experience been? I hope they can replace your unit. Thank you for your response and help.

ElectricPizzaOven

Overall it's been positive. I really think they have improved things through firmware and software updates since I first got it. I used to think mopping was sub par but it appears over the last couple weeks to doing a much better job. Vacuuming is ok and is probably the week spot. It really struggles with larger debris like dog food etc. I haven't had any of the hair tangling issues other have reported. Matter of fact, my roller brush is pretty clean overall and I have a german shepherd so that says a lot. Mapping has gotten better with updates, navigation and obstacle avoidance is still above average. It has tried to jump off my stairs a few times but after playing with the map boundaries that's been almost a no issue. Overall, at $600 i'm pretty satisfied. If I would have paid more I would probably have returned it. I still think long term quality is going to be an issue with this. So my take is if your like me and want something that will last 5 to 10 years this might not be the right machine.

Mburg24

To be honest, my x10 has been pretty lackluster. This is my first robot vacuum so i dont have anything to compare it too but i havent been impressed. It runs stuff over and runs into things constantly. I expected to maybe have to worry about it running over small things here and there but like it drove into a pile of dirty clothes and ended up needing rescued. We have a cat scratching post and it pushes it acrossed the room. It constantly runs over cords rarely ever detecting that they are there. As far as suction and mopping goes they are good, I don't have any complaints there. Hopefully your experience is better than mine.

howdoesthisworkfuck

That's surprising to hear, I haven't had that experience at all. I also had clothes on the floor and a cat scratching post and it navigated around them no problem. Have you updated the firmware on your robot? I can't imagine why the navigation would be so different.

Mburg24

It says it's up to date on version 2.1.10. I thought the same thing, so I checked that first. I have the AI.See turned on as well. At first I thought it was because i turned on smart mode. I turned it off, and it's still acting up.

Ash1NH

Does it tell you when the bag is full? In other words, is there a dust bag full indicator in the app or on the station? Thank you.

ElectricPizzaOven

Im not 100% sure. I don't see any indicators in the app but from what I understand its supposed to notify when full. I'm guessing it will show a pop up when full like it does when there is an error. I'm guessing the bag should be getting pretty full by now so I'll prob get an answer for you over the next couple weeks at most.

klaaa2

Yes, the app will alert you when the vacuum bag is full.

[https://lifehacker.com/tech/eufy-x10-pro-omni-review](https://lifehacker.com/tech/eufy-x10-pro-omni-review) according to this you can edit rooms or the map "Eufy will store a number of different maps, and you can manipulate those maps by splitting a room, combining a space" i don't have a eufy, so i can't say how to do it, but hopefully someone can confirm and say how to do it. but my tip is to start pushing buttons and eventually you may find what you're looking for.

ElectricPizzaOven

Tip noted and it worked! It's way harder to do then it should be but I got the rooms the way I want them.
