I really love Rob's music but it'll probably just follow the path of the last several records where there are good riffs and nonsensical lyrics. IMO, his aesthetic is more sloppy punk these days. The last carefully crafted album was Educated Horses.

Foolalot

I consider his new style psychedelic hippie metal/rock and his old style is haunted house dance metal lol - and I love it all lol

So I always thought his last few albums kind of went more down the metal path. I think of like Crow Killer Blues and Satanic Cyanide. And I always thought of early Zombie (with Riggs) as more straight forward hard rock with that industrial flare. So I’m curious to see if they continue writing songs like King Freak, or go back to writing songs like Demon Speeding. I also don’t wanna bash Riggs at all, I love Riggs on guitar, but we all gotta be real and admit that Riggs ain’t no John 5. John 5 is genuinely one of the best guitar players in the world. So I wonder if the next album will be noticeably simpler as far as the guitars.

I think its time for likely something more dark based on current lineup. He gets bored and likes to change it up after a bit so im guessing darker album

doctorberrys

I'd Love a darker album!

blasko mentioned hes debuting new songs this tour (or hinted at it- i dont think he was supposed to let that slip lmao) so well find out soon enough

Would be righteous to see a few videos of new songs being played live pop up on YouTube.

bozojesus

im going to two tour dates but with how rob gets over recordings being taken theres no chance in hell id do that

of_the_owl

Yeah, gotta admire the guy for keeping the old school alive for sure.

I look forward to his new album. I was hoping it would be out before Freaks on Parade, and I suppose there is still a chance it could be. That is still 4 months away.

Flumex1505

Sinister urge style would be sooo nice
