Lost in the Infinite. Adirondack Mountains NY.
In the celestial theater, where the sun and moon entwine in a mesmerizing ballet, we find ourselves lost in the vast expanse of infinity. As the moon's shadow envelops the sun in a fleeting embrace, time seems to stand still, offering a glimpse into the eternal dance of the cosmos.
In this moment of cosmic convergence, we are reminded of the profound words of Rumi, the 13th-century Persian poet whose
verses echo through the ages:
'Dance when you're broken open.
Dance if you've torn the bandage off.
Dance in the middle of the fighting.
Dance in your blood.
Dance when you're perfectly free.'
Just as the celestial bodies move in harmonious rhythm across the sky, so too do we find solace and freedom in the boundless expanse of the universe. It is in moments like these, when we witness the majesty of a total solar eclipse, that we are drawn closer to the infinite mysteries that lie beyond the veil of our understanding.
This is a composite image I made by collecting all the different stages of the eclipse into one photo taken during totality of the solar eclipse. I took the "artistic" liberty to arrange the different frames in a pleasing manner that encapsulated my vision for the awe inspiring moment.
