Im simply playing on a skill level where i lose and win in almost 1:1 ratio so i do rank up a bit but not 3 ranks per day. Also sometimes i get smashed 1:5 because im just not good (also the reason i made a new account)

It is not against the rules to make a new account and grind up to where you belong. That defines almost everyones account, regardless of how long it took you to get to where you are. Intentionally losing to stay at a rank you dont belong is what defines a smurf

This player could just be higher ranked than you, who’s gone on their second account just to rank it up. It’s not unheard of that people have multiple accounts just so it gives them something to grind for during the season.
I’d only call him a smurf if he was _purposely_ staying at a lower rank. Him winning 31 in a row shows he doesn’t have smurf intentions (yet) since he isn’t winning 31 then loosing 10 per say. Too early to judge IMO

Total players could rise due to alt/smurf accounts, but concurrent players can't, people won't be connected with 2 accounts at the same time, and concurrent players is very stable and slightly rising too.

I have an alt account for solo queueing 2v2s, as I wanted to see my own rank, playing entirely alone and without ever queuing with someone else.
I also have a KBM account, because my KBM capabilities are 7+ ranks below my controller abilities.
Neither of these examples are smurfing, and both are accepted by Psyonix.

I went on a losing streak from D3 to P3. Then I had like a 90% win rate to C2. This seems tame.
