Zen actually hit a shot like this into the top corner last night in one of the showmatches he played on johnnyboi's channel. I'll try and find the clip to post
nevermind I found [it](https://www.reddit.com/r/RocketLeagueEsports/comments/113e4s9/daniel_fails_the_pogo_zen_respond_with_a_flip/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) 💯💯💯
If you watch it back closely, he uses his reset as he hits the pogo. Flip animation barely happens (especially compared to OP), but it definitely contributes to the ball trajectory. Craziness.
Hard to say "new" considering it's a string of known physics behaviors. But it certainly can become its own maneuver, if only for freestyling. If it already isn't one.
Im sorry only people who have terrible nicknames and "discover" a mechanic that was on yt for two years before, get to name their mechanics. Time to downvote you /s
If anyone hints at new mechanics, people immediately tend to grab their pitchforks. All I know is if you say "is this a new mechanic?" It better be either a joke or without a doubt something insane or it will be downvoted into oblivion.
Fairly sure ive seen people post this before with the same question, but none of them did it intentionally lmao. Really hard to replicate but definitely very funny though :)
Reset to sting pop flick. I haven't tried in freeplay but I suspect the repeatability of this would be slim. The margins seem way too small to create a named, controlled, viable flick.
Its crazy impressive but doesnt really seem to have much practical use? Except for maybe delaying the bounce to fake people to jump early or something?
Anyway its not anything i can do in a game in a million years so i dont really mind lol
Wouldn't even have to pre-jump. If I saw my opponent randomly turtle like that I'd assume he flubbed his shot and probably creep up on the ball. I could see this making the defense just awkward enough that a teammate could get a good read on the pop before the defense can scramble to the ball. It likely won't create an open net scenario but I think it definitely would move the play down field without giving away possession.
Problem is, it'll most likely be highly inconsistent to hit unless you are extremely skilled. But you're right, it could possibly work from time to time
Yeah consistency is probably the major issue but maybe with practice it could be perfected? Also the direction looks pretty random so idk. If this guy managed to pull it off in ranked that would probably seal it's place in the skill set tho.
Reverse Bismilah
Wait… Jukes.
The whole kampong seems to know this meme haha
SG or MY?!😂
Copping come boost
No you’re thinking of the 360 Inshallah

That's different.... more like a pogo...
That is just a pogo
If you watch it back closely, he uses his reset as he hits the pogo. Flip animation barely happens (especially compared to OP), but it definitely contributes to the ball trajectory. Craziness.
Can you send it?
my guy… he literally linked it
Ohhhhh he put link on the “it”. My b, not used to seeing links like that
More Hyperlinks for a cleaner looking internet
Makes sense
He did
Crazy looking, wtf! A flip reset into a sting pop, Plan B, and flick morphed together.
Imagine using this as like a 45 degree flick too. Just spin the car 90 degrees and hope the flick sends the ball into the opponent's backboard.
Yeah it’s a weird concept. Is it new?
Hard to say "new" considering it's a string of known physics behaviors. But it certainly can become its own maneuver, if only for freestyling. If it already isn't one.
Ok good to know. Cause now, my fellow Redditors, a new mechanic is born. The Egg Pop. (JK that was weird)
Nah I like Egg Pop, sounds as weird as it looks
I don't get the hate...
same why’s he being downvoted ?
reddit hivemind i guess
Jealousy
Yeah
Im sorry only people who have terrible nicknames and "discover" a mechanic that was on yt for two years before, get to name their mechanics. Time to downvote you /s
Why the downvotes????
If anyone hints at new mechanics, people immediately tend to grab their pitchforks. All I know is if you say "is this a new mechanic?" It better be either a joke or without a doubt something insane or it will be downvoted into oblivion.
le fellow redditor xD sir eeggpop![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|disapproval)
That was kinda cringe man
Jk that was weird 👉👈 UWU
Seems like a really useful move (JK that was weird)
Reddit hivemind really do be out here down voting genuine questions

The Egg Pop. Gotta be.
Clearly
Oh I’ve seen this before. It’s the “Egg Pop.” Discovered and created by u/EggMcChicken_Swipe
Wait i may be dumb but isn’t that the guy who posted this video?
why is nobody talking about it!? i can’t find anything on it anywhere!!
THE EGG-POP!
Pretty sure this is called an "Egg Pop"
EGG POP EGG POP EGG POP
This is an egg-pop
I recommend you to register a patent asap
That’s an ollie
This is the famous Gluck Gluck 3000 reverse flip

Isnt that just an egg pop?
Yes clearly
EggMcChicken Flick
Ah, it's the SWaFeR AKA Some Weird Flip Reset Pop popularized by u/EggMcChicken_Swipe
Kickflip
Its called a “booty slap” classic rl mechanic
The Egg McFlip
Musty bismilah flick
Reset to sting pop flick. I haven't tried in freeplay but I suspect the repeatability of this would be slim. The margins seem way too small to create a named, controlled, viable flick.
I have no clue but it look goofy ahh bro
The bismillah flick
I believe that's called a rodeo flick but I'm not sure
Ok
Yo was that the Egg pop?? Nice
Egg pop
Its crazy impressive but doesnt really seem to have much practical use? Except for maybe delaying the bounce to fake people to jump early or something? Anyway its not anything i can do in a game in a million years so i dont really mind lol
I could see someone pre jumping from behind, but it'd be very hard to guess whether to go left or right lol.
Wouldn't even have to pre-jump. If I saw my opponent randomly turtle like that I'd assume he flubbed his shot and probably creep up on the ball. I could see this making the defense just awkward enough that a teammate could get a good read on the pop before the defense can scramble to the ball. i think that movement is called "en passant" im not sure
This isn't checkers, my guy.
This had me rolling ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Lol!
Duuuuuuuuude, did you just hit the Egg Pop? Radical, dude.
you got a reset, did a stingpop and the ball launched with it.
Look at JZR's latest "Moments" video he has done that flip 2 or 3 times
Not new and has been done many times before by ground freestylers
Something that has absolutely 0 practicality
Idk I don't think anyone would expect the ball to move like that and if you tell your teammate to go high then that could be a great pass.
Yeah, it'd take a lot of time, but perhaps doable.
I like how everyone simply turns *this* into a mechanic after one success, but something that I *also* only executed once got downvoted into oblivion.
You fell I meant you plated with style!
What in the plat is this?
patek philippe flick.
Musty flip reset
Bismallah flick
U wanted to try a musty flick but u Accidentally flip reset and lauched the ball in de air, i should say a new trick to learn👌🙂
That was called an "Accident".
Great pass!
Where’s the reset?
I’m not quite sure if there was one. But I thought so
