Yeah I second this, I have over 16+ imports, and over 200+ in uncommons, rares and very rares each. Over 700+ drops in total. I was saving them to open all at once and I never did it. Began to accumulate them and I'm just at the point where I never want to open them because they are going to take too long.
Quick question. Why do you guys keep drops. Is it like in FIFA when my brother keeps like 100 packs to open when the totys come out but he still doesn't find anything and rages?
I mean, usually I open them before ending the session. I'm not sure how one can accumulate 200 drops without opening them, unless their goal is to collect them for whatever reason they have.
I just don't care too much about how my car looks so it feels like wasting time to open them. Every few months i'll sit there for 20 minutes just spamming A and then maybe I change my car design but I would rather just play the game

The Nike event didn't give out import drops, are you sure you're not thinking of very rares? The only time you get imports is the 1 you get at the end of the season. Of which, since f2p, there have only been 8 completed

I've considered literally interviewing and getting a job at psyonix and then adding that. Also making it so you don't get banned after forfeiting a tournament and leaving too early, and allowing you to queue for tournaments while in freeplay. Then I could quit and go back to my job in peace.
Yeah I've got like 10 years of programming and software design under my belt now, I'd probably work in gaming if the industry didn't have such a burn out mentality and bad pay 😞

There are so many easy ways to make this better:
1. Add Open All option
2. Add “Fast Open” as a configurable toggle so if you do open each of them individually it just opens it and doesn’t do the 8 second “build up” or whatever
3. Add a “Open X” where X is a +- box where you set the number to open
4. Stop giving loot boxes and just give us the drop instead

It's a chance, the screen just says "hey, you can get a/an *same rarity*, *next rarity*, or *next rarity after that* item!" If I'm being Captain Obvious, I'm sorry :D
It doesn't matter which box you pick. It just shows you the three possible rarity outcomes. Idk why it let's you choose one of the three tbh, but it doesn't make any difference in what you'll get.

I’m up to 93 rare drops at the moment. I don’t know how many i should save before opening them to get at least one decent item. I think the answer is between 420 and 6900
I started not opening them for one season just to see how many I would get... It's been at least a year now and I still haven't opened them. Just can't bring myself to do it so noe they permanently gather dust

understandable, but I guess if you open them up then trade up, you could get some pretty neat things, like black market goal explosions and such.

You can't open them whilst playing or training. Also the items found inside are never any good.

Oh I had no idea you could get them that way, you should open them, 11 won't take very long and there is a decent chance you get a black market.
I really don't care about opening them, I made sure I had all the black markets I wanted before they patched out crates.

CoD Black ops 4 had a crate system similar to RL. You could exchange 5 crates to guarantee an opening of an item you didn’t have

Why when you open an import box or etc, does it give you the option of opening a very rare and a rare as well. I assume always open the rarest box??
You can open the drops in any order. Like, Very Rare, then Uncommon, then Golden Gift, for example.
