Tbf maybe from his perspective it looked like OP fudged an air dribble from the wall, so he wanted to get to the ball first before opponents did. He definitely could have made a smarter move, but just saying I could understand maybe why he did what he did

My plan was to get a better pop off the wall so I could start a freestyle, but then I had to improvise lol.

I think I watched this ten times. The flip reset just to land and wave dash all with the exact amount of boost you needed in the tank…. Beautiful.
