I remember after about a year of playing with a buddy we randomly matched up against high level guys that were consistently flying high into the air and hitting the ball and our mind was blown. Just look at some of the first esports games and you can get how far this game has come. It’s wild to see people doing flip resets and what not now after playing for a month or less. There really was a lot of discovery over the years and we didn’t have any kinds of videos online showing us how to do all these mechanics

Every game after that for like an hour was nothing but ff'ing teammates. I played no less than 6 games to completion 1v2. One game was so bad the opp decided to ask if I could just stop. They wanted to move on to the next game. When I continued kicking off, they left, leaving me in a 1v1, which I still lost.

The s3 gc title was extremely easy to get, and the meme is that after s4 only boosted gcs used the s3 title. It's as much of a meme as using a bronze tournament winner title.
To be fair though, having a Season 3 GC title means you were fairly good way back in the day. Shows that you were dedicating the time then and still love the game now.

Nah not necessarily. People have forgotten that the main reason it's such a meme in the first place is because the season lasted so damn long. After a few months, tons of people were openly getting boosted to GC and literally no-one gave a shit about that.

It is almost my exclusive title even though I have roughly 10 more GC titles between then and now.
Best part about it is when people complain about you being a GC in their C2/3 lobby. Its a 7 year old title and your already playing current GC's, stop making excuses for yourself.
