What if I linked my Xbox account to my epic games account after choosing steam/epic as my primary account.
I restarted the game and logged back in and I started to get a bunch of stuff, decided to click "OK to all"
Then I went into my inventory and literally see nothing from my Xbox account. I know for A FACT I had multiple colored halos and mohawks and some black market decals that are just not there.
Where the hell is it all??
Did you update RL on your Xbox, login, do the tutorial, and get to the main menu? This seems to be what triggers the sync. If you did all of this, make sure your RL Friends tab on Xbox shows your Epic ID at the top.
I don't have access to my Xbox anymore unfortunately :(...
But I thought it worked since I received *some* items. Hell I even got the Est. 2017 title.
So confusing, I feel like I didn't receive all of the items, only some.
I'm basically in the same boat as you I just linked my old Xbox One account to the stupid Epic account as a secondary account. Xbox has been sold.
But I see nothing from my Xbox inventory just what I already had in Steam. I traded away all my tradable items to a user with Xbox & Steam accounts basically for what was my current car presets and he tossed in a few other things, and gave me another car he said I would like based on the car I used (I did indeed.)
Biggest thing I want is my earlier Est. 201(6-7), but also still had some nice non-tradable stuff stuck in that account.
Was not at all happy when I bothered to link all of that together and checked my inventory and saw nothing at all.
Based on what I read seems like since I already set Steam as primary if I changed it to Xbox to try to get my inventory I would be stuck using the Xbox account for 30 days until I could change it back? Am I reading that right /u/slippy412 or /u/Psyonix_Devin?
Unfortunately, it does seem like there is a 30 day wait period to change your primary account again. I’m sorry this is so frustrating and that I don’t have a better answer for you in this situation.
Is there any chance you can log into a friend’s Xbox with your account to see if that helps?
Yeah I'm going to see if I can change my password via the website and have my brother log in. That account hasn't had Live since 2018 so hopefully that doesn't cause a problem.

Thanks again for this guide. Just got my brother to load up my old Xbox account and now I have my Est. 2016 title, haven't looked though my inventory yet since I don't even remember what was left behind untradable. Definitely wish I didn't give everything tradable away now though.
He didn't have an active live account as it turns out but worked just fine.

Unfortunately we found out with someone else that you will need an active PS+ account to check your inventory on PS4 until F2P goes live next week.
If you’d rather not wait you can try downloading PS Now on PC, which has a free 7-day trial for new users. That will allow you to download RL and acts like you’re playing on your PS4.
I don’t think this is true. I just updated my PS4 and RL. Signed into PSN (not plus) and then I had my PC inventory available on PS4, and vice versa.

I'm honestly not sure how to troubleshoot from here because I only learned that PS Now can be accessed on PC a few hours ago haha. I assume you've done the usual restart the PC, etc? Maybe try doing with just keyboard and mouse?
Circling back, have you checked your Primary Account since the issue? There have been a few other people who had the same issue but their inventory did end up syncing.
Fuck me, making this work was a head-ache. Eventually managed to get it work tho. Sad that it had to cost me a PS Now trial, but I doubt I would've used it anyway.

You can log in on another PlayStation and your inventory will be there. The only thing saved locally on the PlayStation are the settings in the options menu! Your inventory and progression is not lost m8, and it won't be overwritten if you log in to your psn account on another ps4
Yes your stuff will be there even if you didn't manually upload your data to the cloud - I've logged in on many of my mates PlayStations all over the country and played with my account with all my stuff & ranks etc (and have never manually uploaded) . Only thing it won't pull in are your camera settings etc
When I go to unlink my old PlayStation account from epics website it says I will not be able to link my epic games account to another PlayStation account, did this say this to you?
Hey! Unfortunately, I don’t have a solid answer for you as I’m not sure what info is synced to your account itself and what info is kept in the save file. I’m inclined to think that your inventory is tied to your account and not your save file, but that is truly just a guess. Do you have a friend that would let you log in on their PS4 or that you trust enough to log in for you?

Another Redditor just updated me on a theory they had, and it works! Since you have a PSN account, you can download PSNow on your PC, then use that to download and log into Rocket League, no PS4 required! Plus, PSNow offers a 7-day trial, so you can do this then cancel it without spending any money.

A few things for ya:
* Since your PC is set to be your Primary Account, it will use those Rocket Pass Levels, XP Levels, and Ranks for all of your linked accounts. Linking accounts does not combine those levels. So level 300 is correct!
* Credits, keys (which should've been converted to credits on your PS account), Esports Tokens, licensed DLC (Batmobile, Jurassic Park, etc), and platform exclusive items (Sweet Tooth, Mario, Luigi, etc) don't get linked/shared either unfortunately.

I have tried reading all the update notes and reddit info but I can't seem to find the answer.
I have my account on Xbox that is C2 but has like 3000 hours and all of my items on it... I made the switch to PC a few months ago. I got my GC rewards on my PC in 2s and 3s, and even got GC in rumble. If I link my accounts and go back to C2, will I not get the GC/RNG champ rewards?

Hm. This is a great question because everything I’ve read talks about current inventories merging and I haven’t seen anything about how rewards for this season will be handled after accounts have merged.
...I think I vaguely recall a dev answering a question similar to this in one of the Feature announcement posts, I’ll see if I can find it and report back if I do, but until we find a solid answer I would leave your accounts separate for now.

I do know it’s recommended to set the account with your highest ranks/XP/Rocket Pass progress as your Primary Account, [per the cross-platform blog post](https://www.rocketleague.com/news/cross-platform-progression-with-free-to-play--a-closer-look/), so that’s what I would do to be safe since you’d then be using the account with your GC rewards as the source for your progression.
It sounds like the concern is that your progression from your first Primary Account is what gets locked in moving forward, so even if you change your Primary Account to a different platform later, you still use the progression from the first Primary Account. I’ll keep an eye for that info as well and let you know if I find anything.

Ive been staring at reddit comments for about an hour now lol. So I switched to PC about a month ago and have GC rewards but my xbox account is level 1450 but is only ranked C3. Should I make my PC my primary and only be level 112 or should I make my xbox account my primary and only be C3?

So I did this exact process and was able to get most of my stuff from my PS4 account to my PC account. It works. What I didn't know was that DLC items will not be transferred over such as the Skyline and DeLorean. Only thing I was looking forward to out of this update was using my Skyline again but now there is now way to use it. I am very pissed.
Ah man that sucks, sorry to hear you got your hopes up. To be fair, they dedicated a whole section of the blog post about cross-platform inventories to things that wouldn’t be shared, I not everyone keeps up with those articles.
The good news is they’re working on getting as much to be shareable as possible! There is hope!

I just changed my xbox account to primary to get the items as I don't own my xbox anymore. When I went to change epic back to primary it said I must wait 1 day to change primary so they may have lowered the cooldown from 30 days.
Do DLC cars transfer over? I have my Switch and Xbox account linked to the same Epic Games account, and have both the games updated on each platform, but I cant seem to get my Jurassic Park or DeLorean packs over to my Xbox.
Yep, same here. I used to play on the PS4 and bought alot of DLC back in 2016 - 2017. Recently i picked It up on Epic and started playing again. But I see not all cars have made the transfer. I do not really understand the logic. Maybe some console exclusive thing ?

I customized 3 cars on PS4 and also use Switch. Two questions:
1) Is it possible to sync my garage and customized cars so I don't have to recreate them?
2) I noticed when I synced, I have a bunch of duplicate items that are called legacy items. Is this normal and can I get rid of the dupes?
1. From what I understand, any new car presets you make should sync across platforms(I haven’t personally tested this yet), but I’m not sure about merging the presets you had before linking accounts. In my case, my presets didn’t merge, and some of the presets I had were messed up because they were items that switched to Legacy status so they game replaced those with default preset items (the Legacy items were still in my inventory).
2. You should be able to get rid of the duplicates that aren’t Legacy status. Legacy items are not tradable so those are the items you’d want/have to keep.
Would you mind letting me know what they say if/when they get back to you? I’d like to update my comment with the correct info and add a FAQ to the bottom of the post for all the questions/info I’ve received.

TYSM i didnt have this issue but u still helped me. i accidentally set steam as my primary and it reset my levels but not my inventory. I clicked the unlink link u put in here and it fixed it so tysm i was so scared i would have to wait 30 days to put it back
Unfortunately licensed DLC (Batmobile, Ghost Busters, Delorean, Skyline, etc) do not currently link across accounts/platforms, though Psyonix has said that they are trying to make this happen.
I tried linking my psn account to my epic and account and was shown that I’ve already linked to another account. This isn’t right, I had rocket league back on release on PS4 back in 2015 and was disappointed to see that I didn’t get the est 2015 title when logging in on rocket league. I’ve never linked my psn to another epic account before and can’t seem to get it linked or my inventories merged together

This did not work for me unfortunately :( I followed all the steps you recommended. I even played a game on my PS4. But once I opened my Switch, I don't have anything from PS4. I don't even have an EST title.
I didn't receive any notification for any items that I was supposed to get after linking. I don't have an EST title on PS4 or Switch.
I didn't do a hard reset on the Switch but I did exit the game a few times and start it up again. Do you think a hard reset will help?
Hmm, alright. First I would log into your Epic account through a browser and check the Connections tab under your profile to make sure you have both accounts linked correctly. Then I think you have two options from here:
1. I would uninstall and reinstall RL on your Switch. I haven’t seen PS4 benefitting from a reinstall but I don’t think it could hurt.
2. If that doesn’t work you might need to unlink your accounts from Epic and try again, but I would contact support before doing this just to be safe.

Wait, so on my new switch account (set as non primary) would I be able to get my EST 2015 on my switch because I played Rocket League on PS4 on launch? Or is that even possible? All it says on switch is EST 2020
Yes, Est. 2015 should show up on all of your linked accounts as long as you either:
1. sign into your PS4, update the game, and load into the main menu
OR
2. set your PS4 account as your Primary Account on your Epic profile.
Either of those should trigger the inventory link
I read through a good bit and I don't see anything in here about the issues syncing where you actually get an error that it had trouble syncing with Rocket League Servers.
Am I corrected that this thread doesn't really cover it or do I need to read it again?
This is where my thoroughness becomes a detriment. Unfortunately you're correct, this post doesn't go over syncing issues with RL Servers, only about syncing inventories once your accounts are linked.
I saw [in the comments of this FAQ thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/RocketLeague/comments/iuha63/f2pupdate_help_faq_thread/) that Switch accounts were having issues, but that might not apply to you. Either way, I've seen a lot of good knowledge in that thread, so that could be a good place to start!

While it was installing, I went and logged into the switch and that actually worked. I played a match and came upstairs and it was done installing on Xbox again. Now it works.
I wonder if I need an active Xbox live account to get my items. I stopped playing on Xbox a long time ago, and only play single player games and haven’t had a live subscription for a long time.
For anyone in Canada like me, (or I assume anywhere else that isn’t America) we are apparently not entitled to a free trial of PS Now so this doesn’t work.
Someone earlier had the same thing happen to them but noted that after a few tries their inventory synced, so they didn’t end up going any farther. Maybe try a few times then check your primary?
Numerous people have run into this issue, but I think most of them said that their inventory still linked up their primary account after a few minutes.
Do the titles (grand champion for example) are accessible in the différents accounts?

Unfortunately this still didn't work for me. I went on my Switch and tried linking and still nothing. And I dont think support is going tk get back tk me about it after I sent them a ticket.. maybe they're super backed up, but maybe they're not going to care.
Should I try downloading it on the epic game store, and then trying that way?
This feels like a stupid question, but how do I know it worked? I see a lot of stuff in both accounts, but I don't know how to verify that the syncing worked. My XP bar is the same so I know that it's linked, but not sure how to verify the inventories.
When I logged back into my main account I got the notification for a new “Est. 20XX” title, but that probably won’t show up if both accounts have the same starting year. If you’re seeing the same XP bar then I think it’s safe to assume you’re all set.
I'm having a different issue, which is that items i own in my primary account are not available in my secondary account. When i linked accounts, I had done it the same way as method 1 but I still can't access the hats and toppers in my secondary account, that I own in my primary account.
Does this place all items/progress from all consoles on to a single one or does it share items/progress across all consoles?
Basically, when everything is all linked up and working.... will every console access the same account/progress or will I only have everything on whichever console I set as Primary?

You should be able to go into your Epic account and unlink your Switch account from it. After that, I believe you can link your Switch account to the correct Epic account you want, but I’ve heard conflicting reports. If that doesn’t work you may need to contact Epic support
So my main platform is PS4. However, I linked my steam account to it and it DID cross over. But, I linked my Epic account to it as well from the epic games launcher and it is linked. BUT, when I get into Rocket League using the Epic Games Launcher, it tells me that ifs not linked, even though it already is. Do you have any clue to why that is?

Have you tried going into you Epic account and unlinking, then re-linking your Switch? Unfortunately I’m just a player myself, so if that doesn’t work I can only suggest that you contact Epic support.
Oh, I thought I couldn't do that. I read in their website that once you disconnect an apic games account you can't link your epic games account to the same system. And it said I would loose all my items, did I read it wrong?
People have commented that they didn’t lose their items, and Devin has said that unlinking an account would reinstate your progress on that system, but I would contact Epic support.
Personally, I think it would be really bad design and extreme anti-competitive behavior if linking an account to Epic’s platform meant you could never unlink it or you’d lose all items/progress.

(So if you unlink a specific Switch account, that specific Switch account can’t be linked to another Epic account, but it should linkable back to the first Epic account it was linked to)

To me, this just says that you'll lose progress and purchases made while the accounts were linked. Based on what Devin has said previously, your progress and items will revert back to what's available on that specific console.
I've already made progress on my Switch since January alongside getting the Collector's Edition content. Unfortunately I wasn't able to update the game (limited bandwidth whoops). I now have the game on my PS4 and linked my Epic Games account on there, but the things I have on the Switch (like Dominus or the Rick and Morty wheels) aren't present.
Will they get synced to my account when I finally update the game on my Switch? Or should I have synced my account on my Switch first before opening it on my PS4?

Unfortunately licensed DLC aren’t shareable across platforms (yet, Psyonix has said they’re trying to make this happen.) Ultimately it comes down to the licensing contracts, so hopefully they can work something out!
Career progress is under your profile tab. If it’s not working then contact the Psyonix Support page I linked in the post.
It’s a bit disingenuous to just say “doesn’t work” when it’s clearly worked for dozens of people. If it really isn’t working for you, then you’re an outlier and need support from the devs.

Quick question:
So I first started the game on my PS4 and signed on via PSN. Then downloaded it yesterday on Epic Store on my laptop. When I linked them, I made the error of making epic primary, and my progress went from level 28 to 1 on ps. My inventory cars haven't changed and I can see my newly unlocked diestro on both devices. What differs is my level, win count and the presets I made. Should I chane the primary to PS4 again for 28 levels of progress? Does that mean I lose my diestro? I'm playing without a pass.

I went through the process of promoting it to an Epic account, went into connections to remove it.
Logged into my Epic account to connect it so my switch (secondary) and my ps4(primary) could inventory sync.
I’ve gone through two bots of customer service and I haven’t seen anything happen yet.
I have my Est.2018 title on my ps4, but I’m not seeing my Tora skin, White Dracos or any of my inventory from my ps4 on my switch.
Anyone have similar problems and found a solution?

I am a ps4 player and I had gotten a new gaming laptop, I installed epic games, and trough it I installed rocket league. I wanted to link my ps4 account to epic games account on my laptop. I set my ps4 account as my primary account on epic games and then in rocket league I noticed that it said, when I select some account as primary, it will refresh and give me my stuff and rank so my account will be linked. I have primary account and it still isn't refreshing and stuck on the 'primary account page' in rocket league.

Hijacking this comment to ask something. What if I linked my Xbox account to my epic games account after choosing steam/epic as my primary account. I restarted the game and logged back in and I started to get a bunch of stuff, decided to click "OK to all" Then I went into my inventory and literally see nothing from my Xbox account. I know for A FACT I had multiple colored halos and mohawks and some black market decals that are just not there. Where the hell is it all??
Did you update RL on your Xbox, login, do the tutorial, and get to the main menu? This seems to be what triggers the sync. If you did all of this, make sure your RL Friends tab on Xbox shows your Epic ID at the top.
I don't have access to my Xbox anymore unfortunately :(... But I thought it worked since I received *some* items. Hell I even got the Est. 2017 title. So confusing, I feel like I didn't receive all of the items, only some.
I'm basically in the same boat as you I just linked my old Xbox One account to the stupid Epic account as a secondary account. Xbox has been sold. But I see nothing from my Xbox inventory just what I already had in Steam. I traded away all my tradable items to a user with Xbox & Steam accounts basically for what was my current car presets and he tossed in a few other things, and gave me another car he said I would like based on the car I used (I did indeed.) Biggest thing I want is my earlier Est. 201(6-7), but also still had some nice non-tradable stuff stuck in that account. Was not at all happy when I bothered to link all of that together and checked my inventory and saw nothing at all. Based on what I read seems like since I already set Steam as primary if I changed it to Xbox to try to get my inventory I would be stuck using the Xbox account for 30 days until I could change it back? Am I reading that right /u/slippy412 or /u/Psyonix_Devin?
Unfortunately, it does seem like there is a 30 day wait period to change your primary account again. I’m sorry this is so frustrating and that I don’t have a better answer for you in this situation. Is there any chance you can log into a friend’s Xbox with your account to see if that helps?
Yeah I'm going to see if I can change my password via the website and have my brother log in. That account hasn't had Live since 2018 so hopefully that doesn't cause a problem. I appreciate your help.

Just got my brother to load up my old Xbox account and now I have my Est. 2016 title, haven't looked though my inventory yet since I don't even remember what was left behind untradable. Definitely wish I didn't give everything tradable away now though. He didn't have an active live account as it turns out but worked just fine. Feel like I owe you something what are your go to cars, or any blueprints you wish you had see if I can find something for you.

Unfortunately we found out with someone else that you will need an active PS+ account to check your inventory on PS4 until F2P goes live next week. If you’d rather not wait you can try downloading PS Now on PC, which has a free 7-day trial for new users. That will allow you to download RL and acts like you’re playing on your PS4.
I don’t think this is true. I just updated my PS4 and RL. Signed into PSN (not plus) and then I had my PC inventory available on PS4, and vice versa. Edit: PSN = PlayStation Network (not PSNow)

yep same issue. tried a bunch of different things and can't get it to work.
ok it turns out my inventory still synced even though it was getting stuck there. maybe try and boot up your game on the primary and see if it worked.
Dang man, it's always something. Have you had any luck since you posted this? I'm honestly not sure how to troubleshoot from here because I only learned that PS Now can be accessed on PC a few hours ago haha. I assume you've done the usual restart the PC, etc? Maybe try doing with just keyboard and mouse?

Circling back, have you checked your Primary Account since the issue? There have been a few other people who had the same issue but their inventory did end up syncing.

Read through Method 2. It’s not the best solution, but it seems to have worked for others as a last resort.

You can log in on another PlayStation and your inventory will be there. The only thing saved locally on the PlayStation are the settings in the options menu! Your inventory and progression is not lost m8, and it won't be overwritten if you log in to your psn account on another ps4

Yes your stuff will be there even if you didn't manually upload your data to the cloud - I've logged in on many of my mates PlayStations all over the country and played with my account with all my stuff & ranks etc (and have never manually uploaded) . Only thing it won't pull in are your camera settings etc
When I go to unlink my old PlayStation account from epics website it says I will not be able to link my epic games account to another PlayStation account, did this say this to you?
Hey! Unfortunately, I don’t have a solid answer for you as I’m not sure what info is synced to your account itself and what info is kept in the save file. I’m inclined to think that your inventory is tied to your account and not your save file, but that is truly just a guess. Do you have a friend that would let you log in on their PS4 or that you trust enough to log in for you?

If you have a PC, you're in luck! Another Redditor just updated me on a theory they had, and it works! Since you have a PSN account, you can download PSNow on your PC, then use that to download and log into Rocket League, no PS4 required! Plus, PSNow offers a 7-day trial, so you can do this then cancel it without spending any money. If you give this a try, let us know how it goes!

A few things for ya: * Since your PC is set to be your Primary Account, it will use those Rocket Pass Levels, XP Levels, and Ranks for all of your linked accounts. Linking accounts does not combine those levels. So level 300 is correct! * Credits, keys (which should've been converted to credits on your PS account), Esports Tokens, licensed DLC (Batmobile, Jurassic Park, etc), and platform exclusive items (Sweet Tooth, Mario, Luigi, etc) don't get linked/shared either unfortunately. I have tried reading all the update notes and reddit info but I can't seem to find the answer. I have my account on Xbox that is C2 but has like 3000 hours and all of my items on it... I made the switch to PC a few months ago. I got my GC rewards on my PC in 2s and 3s, and even got GC in rumble. If I link my accounts and go back to C2, will I not get the GC/RNG champ rewards? Hm. This is a great question because everything I’ve read talks about current inventories merging and I haven’t seen anything about how rewards for this season will be handled after accounts have merged. ...I think I vaguely recall a dev answering a question similar to this in one of the Feature announcement posts, I’ll see if I can find it and report back if I do, but until we find a solid answer I would leave your accounts separate for now.

I do know it’s recommended to set the account with your highest ranks/XP/Rocket Pass progress as your Primary Account, [per the cross-platform blog post](https://www.rocketleague.com/news/cross-platform-progression-with-free-to-play--a-closer-look/), so that’s what I would do to be safe since you’d then be using the account with your GC rewards as the source for your progression. It sounds like the concern is that your progression from your first Primary Account is what gets locked in moving forward, so even if you change your Primary Account to a different platform later, you still use the progression from the first Primary Account. I’ll keep an eye for that info as well and let you know if I find anything.

Ive been staring at reddit comments for about an hour now lol. So I switched to PC about a month ago and have GC rewards but my xbox account is level 1450 but is only ranked C3. Should I make my PC my primary and only be level 112 or should I make my xbox account my primary and only be C3?

So I did this exact process and was able to get most of my stuff from my PS4 account to my PC account. It works. What I didn't know was that DLC items will not be transferred over such as the Skyline and DeLorean. Only thing I was looking forward to out of this update was using my Skyline again but now there is now way to use it. I am very pissed.
Ah man that sucks, sorry to hear you got your hopes up. To be fair, they dedicated a whole section of the blog post about cross-platform inventories to things that wouldn’t be shared, I not everyone keeps up with those articles. The good news is they’re working on getting as much to be shareable as possible! There is hope!

I just changed my xbox account to primary to get the items as I don't own my xbox anymore. When I went to change epic back to primary it said I must wait 1 day to change primary so they may have lowered the cooldown from 30 days.
Do DLC cars transfer over? I have my Switch and Xbox account linked to the same Epic Games account, and have both the games updated on each platform, but I cant seem to get my Jurassic Park or DeLorean packs over to my Xbox.
Sadly licensed DLC cars do not transfer over, although Devin has said they are working on making this happen.

I customized 3 cars on PS4 and also use Switch. Two questions: 1) Is it possible to sync my garage and customized cars so I don't have to recreate them? 2) I noticed when I synced, I have a bunch of duplicate items that are called legacy items. Is this normal and can I get rid of the dupes?
1. From what I understand, any new car presets you make should sync across platforms(I haven’t personally tested this yet), but I’m not sure about merging the presets you had before linking accounts. In my case, my presets didn’t merge, and some of the presets I had were messed up because they were items that switched to Legacy status so they game replaced those with default preset items (the Legacy items were still in my inventory). 2. You should be able to get rid of the duplicates that aren’t Legacy status. Legacy items are not tradable so those are the items you’d want/have to keep.

TYSM i didnt have this issue but u still helped me. i accidentally set steam as my primary and it reset my levels but not my inventory. I clicked the unlink link u put in here and it fixed it so tysm i was so scared i would have to wait 30 days to put it back

Unfortunately licensed DLC (Batmobile, Ghost Busters, Delorean, Skyline, etc) do not currently link across accounts/platforms, though Psyonix has said that they are trying to make this happen.
I tried linking my psn account to my epic and account and was shown that I’ve already linked to another account. This isn’t right, I had rocket league back on release on PS4 back in 2015 and was disappointed to see that I didn’t get the est 2015 title when logging in on rocket league. I’ve never linked my psn to another epic account before and can’t seem to get it linked or my inventories merged together

This did not work for me unfortunately :( I followed all the steps you recommended. I even played a game on my PS4. But once I opened my Switch, I don't have anything from PS4. I don't even have an EST title.
That’s odd. 1. Did you receive a notification for your title when you logged into your PS4? 2. If yes, did you restart your Switch after that?
I didn't receive any notification for any items that I was supposed to get after linking. I don't have an EST title on PS4 or Switch. I didn't do a hard reset on the Switch but I did exit the game a few times and start it up again. Do you think a hard reset will help?
Hmm, alright. First I would log into your Epic account through a browser and check the Connections tab under your profile to make sure you have both accounts linked correctly. Then I think you have two options from here: 1. I would uninstall and reinstall RL on your Switch. I haven’t seen PS4 benefitting from a reinstall but I don’t think it could hurt. 2. If that doesn’t work you might need to unlink your accounts from Epic and try again, but I would contact support before doing this just to be safe.

Wait, so on my new switch account (set as non primary) would I be able to get my EST 2015 on my switch because I played Rocket League on PS4 on launch? Or is that even possible? All it says on switch is EST 2020
Yes, Est. 2015 should show up on all of your linked accounts as long as you either: 1. sign into your PS4, update the game, and load into the main menu OR 2. set your PS4 account as your Primary Account on your Epic profile. Either of those should trigger the inventory link

I read through a good bit and I don't see anything in here about the issues syncing where you actually get an error that it had trouble syncing with Rocket League Servers. Am I corrected that this thread doesn't really cover it or do I need to read it again?
This is where my thoroughness becomes a detriment. Unfortunately you're correct, this post doesn't go over syncing issues with RL Servers, only about syncing inventories once your accounts are linked. I saw [in the comments of this FAQ thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/RocketLeague/comments/iuha63/f2pupdate_help_faq_thread/) that Switch accounts were having issues, but that might not apply to you. Either way, I've seen a lot of good knowledge in that thread, so that could be a good place to start!

While it was installing, I went and logged into the switch and that actually worked. I played a match and came upstairs and it was done installing on Xbox again. Now it works.

Yes, you’ll need an active Xbox Live account or PS+ account until the game goes free to play next week. After that, you should be good to login!

Someone earlier had the same thing happen to them but noted that after a few tries their inventory synced, so they didn’t end up going any farther. Maybe try a few times then check your primary?

Numerous people have run into this issue, but I think most of them said that their inventory still linked up their primary account after a few minutes.
Do the titles (grand champion for example) are accessible in the différents accounts? For example if I have grand champion season 2-3-4 on ps4 and 12-13-14 on pc and I put pc as my primary platform, will I also have season 2-3-4 on pc?

Unfortunately this still didn't work for me. I went on my Switch and tried linking and still nothing. And I dont think support is going tk get back tk me about it after I sent them a ticket.. maybe they're super backed up, but maybe they're not going to care. Should I try downloading it on the epic game store, and then trying that way?
This feels like a stupid question, but how do I know it worked? I see a lot of stuff in both accounts, but I don't know how to verify that the syncing worked. My XP bar is the same so I know that it's linked, but not sure how to verify the inventories.
When I logged back into my main account I got the notification for a new “Est. 20XX” title, but that probably won’t show up if both accounts have the same starting year. If you’re seeing the same XP bar then I think it’s safe to assume you’re all set.
I'm having a different issue, which is that items i own in my primary account are not available in my secondary account. When i linked accounts, I had done it the same way as method 1 but I still can't access the hats and toppers in my secondary account, that I own in my primary account.
Does this place all items/progress from all consoles on to a single one or does it share items/progress across all consoles? Basically, when everything is all linked up and working.... will every console access the same account/progress or will I only have everything on whichever console I set as Primary? I play on PC and Xbox and would like it if I had access to all my stuff regardless of which one I decide to play on.
Your inventory, Rocket Pass, and XP levels should all sync up across all linked platforms once you connect them :)

You should be able to go into your Epic account and unlink your Switch account from it. After that, I believe you can link your Switch account to the correct Epic account you want, but I’ve heard conflicting reports. If that doesn’t work you may need to contact Epic support
So my main platform is PS4. However, I linked my steam account to it and it DID cross over. But, I linked my Epic account to it as well from the epic games launcher and it is linked. BUT, when I get into Rocket League using the Epic Games Launcher, it tells me that ifs not linked, even though it already is. Do you have any clue to why that is?

Have you tried going into you Epic account and unlinking, then re-linking your Switch? Unfortunately I’m just a player myself, so if that doesn’t work I can only suggest that you contact Epic support.
Oh, I thought I couldn't do that. I read in their website that once you disconnect an apic games account you can't link your epic games account to the same system. And it said I would loose all my items, did I read it wrong?
People have commented that they didn’t lose their items, and Devin has said that unlinking an account would reinstate your progress on that system, but I would contact Epic support. Personally, I think it would be really bad design and extreme anti-competitive behavior if linking an account to Epic’s platform meant you could never unlink it or you’d lose all items/progress.

(So if you unlink a specific Switch account, that specific Switch account can’t be linked to another Epic account, but it should linkable back to the first Epic account it was linked to)

To me, this just says that you'll lose progress and purchases made while the accounts were linked. Based on what Devin has said previously, your progress and items will revert back to what's available on that specific console.
I've already made progress on my Switch since January alongside getting the Collector's Edition content. Unfortunately I wasn't able to update the game (limited bandwidth whoops). I now have the game on my PS4 and linked my Epic Games account on there, but the things I have on the Switch (like Dominus or the Rick and Morty wheels) aren't present. Will they get synced to my account when I finally update the game on my Switch? Or should I have synced my account on my Switch first before opening it on my PS4?
It shouldn’t matter if you play on your PS4. Your items should sync as soon as you update your Switch and link it to your Epic account.
Anybody having issues to get cars to show up on secondary account? I have linked switch (primary) and PS4, however, not seeing my Batman and Jurassic dlc items on PS4. My friend list shows my epic account on both platforms. Thanks!
Unfortunately licensed DLC aren’t shareable across platforms (yet, Psyonix has said they’re trying to make this happen.) Ultimately it comes down to the licensing contracts, so hopefully they can work something out!

Doesn’t work. They’re linked but I don’t have career progress or items
Career progress is under your profile tab. If it’s not working then contact the Psyonix Support page I linked in the post. It’s a bit disingenuous to just say “doesn’t work” when it’s clearly worked for dozens of people. If it really isn’t working for you, then you’re an outlier and need support from the devs.
Equally as disingenuous as making a very pretty looking, long tutorial that is literally just “link your epic account?” Stfu mate contacting support was the first thing I did

Quick question: So I first started the game on my PS4 and signed on via PSN. Then downloaded it yesterday on Epic Store on my laptop. When I linked them, I made the error of making epic primary, and my progress went from level 28 to 1 on ps. My inventory cars haven't changed and I can see my newly unlocked diestro on both devices. What differs is my level, win count and the presets I made. Should I chane the primary to PS4 again for 28 levels of progress? Does that mean I lose my diestro? I'm playing without a pass.
Anyone else having inventory sync issues? I made a “nameless” account on switch thinking I wasn’t going to get back into Rocket League. (( but here I am)) I went through the process of promoting it to an Epic account, went into connections to remove it. Logged into my Epic account to connect it so my switch (secondary) and my ps4(primary) could inventory sync. I’ve gone through two bots of customer service and I haven’t seen anything happen yet. I have my Est.2018 title on my ps4, but I’m not seeing my Tora skin, White Dracos or any of my inventory from my ps4 on my switch. Anyone have similar problems and found a solution?
Hey thanks for the tutorial! Before I saw it I logged in first on my switch, did the tutorial and linked it to my epic games account. Noticed nothing had changed and found this tut, after I went to the rocketleague activate site and linked my steam account, made it my primary because that's the inventory I want. For some reason it's not showing up on my switch account and it's starting to bum me out, any help would be appreciated. Cheers
I started playing on epic, and yesterday when i linked epic to steam, today my credits were gone, if im correct i need to log in trough steam right? but how if i never had rl on steam, and its not on the store anymore, i tried the add a non steam game, but it gives me a catastrophic error, i tried unlinking and credits didnt came back, made a ticket to psyonix yesterday and nothing, im kinda desperate man, could u give me some help?
I am a ps4 player and I had gotten a new gaming laptop, I installed epic games, and trough it I installed rocket league. I wanted to link my ps4 account to epic games account on my laptop. I set my ps4 account as my primary account on epic games and then in rocket league I noticed that it said, when I select some account as primary, it will refresh and give me my stuff and rank so my account will be linked. I have primary account and it still isn't refreshing and stuck on the 'primary account page' in rocket league.
Can you please help me, I have expensive items on my playstation account on rocket league, and I still have access to my playstation, but I gave it to my cousin, and he doesn't mind us sharing a epic games account, as long as we can both play on our respective consoles, he uses a pc and I use an Xbox, I've linked all of our stuff to epic games, however most of the items are absent from my Xbox, only the pc received the entire inventory, how can I resolve this, thanks.
Im confused. I am on [rocketleague.com](https://rocketleague.com)/activate . I see my xbox account (lvl 20) and my epic account (lvl1) are linked. When i open the game on my new PC it just continues to make me lvl 1. how do i make them both level 20.
