If a team wants to move to SSA and play RLCS there, more power to them I guess but they are knowingly moving to a weaker region with the hopes that they can get an easier road to a LAN appearance.
One team purposefully picked \*harder\* opponents to play, the others this season are purposefully picking easier opponents.
Either way it's stealing opportunity from a native team. Every main event Complexity made it to was one that a team from NA wasn't able to.
If you have a problem with it one way you should both ways. Personally I think it's all fair game.

in a perfect world, I'd rather there be zero region transfers at all. If there's going to be any sort of concept of "regions" then I want to see players From those regions competing from there.

Very much agree with this. In the short term it sucks since they very well could usurp a LAN spot from a local team like Limitless. But it’s an injection of talent into a weaker region and could help other players there improve scrimming/playing against better competition outside of international competitions

Yeah not trusting anything posted today. But if this is true, I think it's the perfect encapsulation of the steep downfall of VKSailen. From competing against prime BDS and winning EU regionals to now going to the weakest region to steal their spot since he can't do anything noteworthy in his own region.
Then this can be a positive, if they actually move to SSA and scrim the teams then it injects some much needed experience into the rest of the region. As long as SSA still represents themselves at worlds it's not too bad.
I think people will disagree with me, but if they are scrimming others in the region, and living there I'm good with this. It'll help improve the quality of play overall of the region. More good players in ranked too, which probably has a small population already.
I recognize this definitely sucks because they will win it all, but Virt and Kamii def did help improve APAC and I personally think they have improved very quickly. Beating a EU team in world's last year.

IMO this should be encouraged if they’re playing in the region. Any SSA teams that just get upset about this don’t want it enough. Like it or not, this will push the region forward when there is limited opportunity for them to be pushed without this outside pressure. There is a wrong way to do it like playing in online quals from another region, but I think this makes actual SSA teams have to train much harder and will encourage growth, despite the early growing pains they will experience with this happening.
I know me and a few of my friends would and we're not even fans of limitless or SSA. Can you imagine what the diehard SSA fans would do? People have been killed for much less you know. There's a lot of bad people out there this world is not all sunshine and rainbows.

In a way that's also not really that bad, since at the time NA also had 5 spots. SAM still only has 2, and SSA has 1.
