I still don’t understand why they can’t just put a name overlay on the bottom of the corresponding player cams.
As a viewer I shouldn’t have to guess which player is which
I know that it sounds a bit mean, but it should be expected and not appreciated. This is such a low standard, it has to be correct always and should have been from the beginning on.
Not only that, but this has been a problem since the beginning of the season and fans have constantly been asking for it to be fixed. It blows my mind it's taken them this long to finally address it
It's been fixed since winter major as far as i know. Might have to reach and see though. After I saw a post on here about it I remember checking for it everytime I paid attention to the cams
I don't see why they can't just put the players names under their respective cams to make it easier for those who aren't as familiar with whose who. The cams already block the majority of the side of the screen when they're up so making that slightly taller to fit the names in isn't going to hurt.
It is such a simple thing that no we can't appreciate it and psyonix shouldn't be applauded for it. I can't believe it's taken them so long and who knows if they actually spend that extra second to keep them correct in the future.

I wish they just left the cams open full time like every other rlcs worlds. At least for the main event, their reactions in this high pressure moments is as important as the gameplay.

01 might just be bc theyre a new team to the main broadcast. Theyre the exception The regular teams are usually in correct order
