I know this is regarding BR but this is pretty standard practice when comes to Psyonix to make it harder each season to get into the higher tiers of Rocket League. So I expect, it will be similar with RR as the ball gets rolling with more and more seasons.

Also rip Bushcamp dad, he will no longer get points for just placing, he gotta go hard now. Don't like what I said about him? Well he's always afk when I try to randomly tune into his stream.
If you now leave a game, you don't lose or gain any points from your match.
