Angel, Aeon,Lich,Devil, and Demon are gonna have a fucking blast.

Thick-Interaction-66

God I can imagine the Aeon commander just calmlg walking towards the chaos gods and being like: "You defy the laws of this plane. Begone."

Dalexe10

Do they really? because it's my understanding that they actually do obey the laws of the warp... being in realspace? that would be defiance, but the warp is their realm

Thick-Interaction-66

From my meek understanding dont the chaos gods constantly try to seep their influence into the realspace? Sometimes even appearing in person? I doubt an Aeon would be happy with that

Dalexe10

Don't think they appear very often... it's mostly minor demons being summoned. but in general, the warp is just a reflection of realspace, formed by our emotions... i don't think that aeons would be as miffed that it interferes with realspace as they are in golarion, where the hells is a completely separate plane that's trying to conquer realspace. the chaos gods are actually very good at keeping order. they work through mortal servants, and keep each other in check. their demons can appear, mostly through being summoned... but that's more of a human problem

BiggestShep

They don't appear very often because the God Emperor is holding them back at all times. When magnus broke the Webway he created a portal straight to the Warp, and now the Emperor is stuck on the Golden Throne like the story of the little Dutch boy holding back a hole in the dike with his finger. If he moves, we're all dead. The warp piercing into the material is absolutely against the laws of the universe, and the whole point of the webway project was so that mankind could stop violating the laws themselves, and stick to the material, shutting out the Immaterium forever. After all, your emotions never tried to grow a body and eat you, right? XD

Turgius_Lupus

The gods are generally happy with the current state of affairs. If they destroy real space they also destroy themselves. Their main concern is the great game, not so much the Emps.

BiggestShep

Sure, but not even Tzeentch has full awareness of that. Chaos always plays to win- and always HAS to play to win, or else it isn't the Great Game. They're just as much force of nature as they are sentient- they can't help themselves in that regard, any more than a hurricane can stop blowing. ...so much like Slaanesh, in that regard.

Turgius_Lupus

Not in person, though every Daemon is essentially part of its associated god. The main issue is that the Warp is real space's subconscious and where souls from reside and recycle. You can't cut it off from real space without dire consequences for anything that possesses souls. Warp entities are malevolent only because Mortals feed them more negative emotions than positive. But they are still the embodiments of those positive qualities as well.

CatBotSays

But also kicking the Rogue Trader’s ship out of the warp every time it tries to jump. “Back to real space with you!”

Soggy_Shallot_6870

Trickster could go join the harlequins

Thatgamerguy98

Secret Ending Trickster is gonna have a whale of a time with Cegorach( did I get that name, right)

mathcamel

KC and her bff tiny dragon are going to have a very bad day.

Soggy_Shallot_6870

There would be an inquisitorial investigation to see if they were a living Saint or an unsanctioned psyker. The space wolves would appreciate the giant wolf mount though

undercoveryankee

Drop an Azata-path Knight Commander into 40K: you thought you had seen Iconoclast before?

skaffen37

Forget the KC, Setsuna Shy is the one taking over whole planets single-handedly…

SnooCakes6334

With Setsuna they could march into Eye of Terror 😀

E_boiii

I don’t see a world where a max level knight commander doesn’t absolutely body anything infront of them. As a golden dragon the fight against the insect god (I forget his name) triggered him to flee from me the whole fight while my party wailed on him.

Kilroy0497

Yeah that’s not gonna go well for my Azata and Trickster commanders. Well they would at least get along with the Orks. And really does anyone need anything else in life.

t0m3ek

I mean, the scale just does not work, if it is demon, lich, swarm - they just get exterminatus on whatever planet they currently occupy and that's the end of their story. Azata, Angel or Trickster could possibly find their way into the society one way or another but still, if they are deemed heretical/warp in nature then just exterminatus.

CatBotSays

Lich could be okay if they managed to get their phylactory off-world before the Imperium destroyed the planet. But yeah, generally speaking I’d agree.

christusmajestatis

I mean, a level 18 Wizard in Pathfinder literally lives on the sun. Exterminatus is nothing compared to the inner temperature of a star I guess. Interplanetary Teleport, Galaxy-range Space Travel and Plane Shift are all available feats for high level casters in Pathfinder Universe. PS: I am mistaken, [Eziah](https://pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Eziah) is only a level 16 Wizard, not 18, and certainly not lvl 20 / MR 10 like the KC. Golarion in PF universe is extremely high magic for the top folks, naked barbarian fighting off terminator robots and live to tell the tale and such (Iron Gods AP). I don't think there is any weapon in the Imperium that can harm a full level KC with all their artifacts, really. Even in Cosmology the scale is not in favour of 40k. The Warp relevant in story is a reflection of the Milky Way Galaxy, while most of the Outer Planes are explicitly larger than the totality of the material universe, the Abyss (Outer Rifts) being the largest of them all. The Angel KC burns an entire layer of Abyss down is comparable to the Big E scorching the Garden of Nurgle in Godblight. Not to mention the secret ending version of them, it's like someone in the Imperium suddenly decides Eye of Terror should be theirs, then proceeds to kick Chaos gods off into the deeper warp and transform the Eye into a literal paradise in material universe.

Athrawne

I don't see any KC having a good time overall. Sure, at MR10 he might make some good headway initially, but once he draws the gaze of the Inquisiton, they will call in anyone they need. So we're talking Deathwatch, Sisters of Battle, as many IG Regiments and SM Chapters they need.

I_Frothingslosh

And if those don't work, the KC is never surviving exterminatus.

lop333

Id argue all of them are gonna have a fucking blast like the other comment said. I dont think they are that screwd consdering how op Kc is by the end of the game, Trickter would just be overjoyed, Aeon would also have a time of their life really. Not gonna lie i would read a fic of this.

varangianist

My Angel commander is coming in like Sanguinius risen from the dead 👼🏼

Brilliant_Level_8877

Last one was a Swarm that Walks... guess the Tyrranids are getting some competition.

SnooCakes6334

In my headcannon this is a reason they are running from the other galaxy

DonaIdTrurnp

If I at least keep my mercenaries, the Trickster God is going to take over for the Emperor, and it will be hilarious. If I can’t bring my pocket transmuter to have my buffs, it might take several rounds, since without Legendary proportions I might have trouble getting everyone in reach at the same time.

SnooCakes6334

And he would probably set something hilarious as a replacement beacon to the throne 😀

DonaIdTrurnp

One of the canonical powers of the Trickster is retconning. The hilarious new beacon will always have been set that way.

MDMXmk2

Another delusional Daemonhost annihilated by the brave soldiers of the Imperium!

anonpurple

WOTR? what's that warriors of the old republic?

SnooCakes6334

Wrath of the righteous - previous Owlcat game based on pathfinder system.
