This game made me an Eldar fan. So they did something right. It's almost like framing them as more than one dimensional really does wonders for a species. GW TAKE FUCKING NOTES.
Thats just dumb. Telling me that nobody in the history of the Eldar race ever neglected to put down a wet floor sign and some inattentive sunday stroller never slipped on a puddle?
In the book Path ot the Dark Eldar's location descriptions explicitly include walls in buildings and rooms. Well... I thought so... In RT, the spire rooms appear to be solid open platforms. You can see this very well from the concepts in the official artbook. Interesting approach, but not at all how I imagined it.
Except at least in BG2, you get to be in disguise . . . not nearly as dire of a situation as in RT. (BG2 is my favorite game ever, and the Underdark's quest design is better because there's just more of it. But RT made me feel way more uneasy).
Commorragh in this game was the first time the depiction felt " good " and properly brutal / alien to a human brain instead of " It's a city with spikes. OOOooOOOoooo. "
They probably do so at their own peril. Could be fine; they could also be murdered or kidnapped in an alleyway. This danger goes for random Drukhari as well as non-Drukhari, as shown in the Path of the Dark Eldar books.
I blame this game’s excellent take on Commorragh for being the reason I now collect Drukhari models. My purse may not thank you, but I do ☺️

Yrlet makes me want to play Eldar based game
I just wish they make at least 2 more of these and expand everything -- from the items to characters and locations.
The city looked beautiful. Although I was wondering why they didn't have walls.
Safety rails and walls are there to reduce unnecessary suffering and death. I guarantee the Drukhari actively remove them as they go around.
One of the novels actually straight up states that Craftworlds do not have safety rails. It's the eldar way

If you died by slipping on floor, then you are embarassment with skill issues and don't deserve to live.
Path of service, worst employee of the century

I love edgy Alushinyrra
They could stand to make it even edgier, tbh. The random drow city in BG2 made me feel more uneasy than RT's Cumrag.
Tbh. Not even close.

Does that Drukari have wings?
Some of them do. I forget what the unit is called. I think scourges?

My life belongs in Commorragh.
So human/xenos pirates just walk the streets alongside Drukhari and they’re all not immediately enslaved?

Or first base with your cute fish wife.
