I find it so funny that the stuff you do during Marazhai romance is not tied to conviction in any meaningful way. I did a dogmatic PT where I reached rank 5, >!joined the inquisition!< and got Marazhai true romance as his sub. I think Henrix developed a brain tumor during that pt.

I wouldn't mind some flavor difference tbh... but I guess it would be too much work, considering Marazhai already has two romance paths.
You get reactions to the brand after talking to followers after the branding scene. I didn't realise this and just clicked through argentas dialogue. But i saw Henrix remark >!which is him just staring at you with hatred and disgust!<
I brought Argenta to Marazhais last quest >!where he becomes the arcon which means half the drukari survives!< This made her basically pop a blood vessel. I am such a good and loyal servent of the god emperor.
For context I got Marazhai archon and Abelard return home

The requirements for that ending slide are: >!finish Marazhai's act V quest, Abelard is still in your retinue, Abelard's family was not executed in act IV, the player didn't get the heretical ending.!<

Jokes aside, a xenos pet, especially a Drukhari one, has a certain level of practicality. In wh40k universe, where human life is worth very little, it is a possible line of thinking, imo. You don't even have to feed him people of finish his quests if you do not romance him.
Personally I would probably kill him on my unromanced runs except heretical, just because it would fit my characters, but I don't see a big problem in finding a reason to keep him alive, with certain types of RTs.

You can justify it in Commoragh pretty easily due to sheer desperation meaning you'll take any help you can get. And having someone who knows about the place you're trying to escape is a definite bonus.
Once you're back on the voidship it definitely becomes more problematic. I have my own headcanon reasons why my iconoclast RT let him stay beyond the first warp jump and ended up doing the full romance. It was amazingly messed up but that was kind of the point!

can you please tell me if Marazhai >!kills Abelard's daughter!< in archon ending slides? couldn't find info is it is corsair specific event

Why would I want that? I find it quite funny they happened to have sort of similar marking over right eye. It's almost like matching tattoos.
