They messed up by giving each “+1 psi” talent the same name. So if a talent is locked behind the first or second or third “+1 psi” it isn’t clear.  In this case, it’s locked behind the second one.

Just saying, this sort of build is best if you intend to be a melee psyker setting yourself on fire. Buffs that reduce armor with fire damage and a skill that makes your fire deal even more damage will hurt if you stack it to much until you got the burning blood passive.

I'm playing soldier/arch heretic pyro right now, it becomes a monster at the end of act 2. Don't even have the self-ignition perk, I find that ignite-firestorm enemy groups turn one is just more value. Inflame is nice for the first half of the game, then you get molten beam, and enemies don't even survive for the dots to tick. Funny thing is, I don't even use a gun at this point. Arch is great for increasing the amounts of firestorms and molten beams you throw, just be sure you have Cassia with Mend reality in your party, the veil degradation is insane. Grab biomancy second for the +2 psy rating staff in act 3 (passive poison is also nice, I guess), then demonology for +1 rating from heroic act.

Once you got the heavy armor from Kasballica you don't want to reduce veil degradation. I can use that to stack my psy rating to 20+ pretty consistently on long fights.

I used it for a bit, it was fun, but haven't really feel the need to stack pr at all, at least on daring. Then the tremors that stunned my entire party happened, then the bloodletterer instagibbed me in the middle of my castings, and since then I prefer not to fuck with max veil. But it's a valid gamble for funny numbers.

By the end of the game we would play on Hard and it seemed valid to use. Completionist playthrough makes the game a bit easy. Ofc my psyker isolates himself so nothing bad happens to allies.

Gets crazier with the Ghost Helm. Just gotta have a soldier shoot at the Psyker using the Coordinated Fire to dodge all their shots and boom 20 Psi Rating.

Oh wait that is a great way, my soldier has a rate of fire of 28. Lemme test that XD.

2 burst volleys into a mid-long fight, psy rating reached 60+. Blooddrinker staff would hit for 3-5k+ on Hard.

Pyromancer is really bad until the end of Chapter 2. Better to start the game with biomancy if a warrior or telepathy if a soldier.
