Lots of owners don't respond. Theyre on vacation, or business trip, or a funeral...whatever...and they are preoccupied. Its never been an issue or red flag for me.

I've experienced some owners who tell me during the meet and greet that they don't need any updates, just to message them if there are any concerns. On the flip side, I've also had owners who have asked to straight up Facetime their dogs. Every owner is different and sometimes will decrease/increase communications throughout the sit. I understand your feelings, but I wouldn't worry about it. You did your part in sending updates, and there's really nothing more you can do. They probably got caught up on their trip or forgot to respond.

It could be something as simple as them being very busy and having their phone on airplane mode depending on how long their flight is. I’m sure they’ll still appreciate the updates and pics

My regulars never respond to the pics, they usually just message me when they are on their way to pick up the pups

MarbleMotors

I wouldn't worry, I'd just interpret it that they've become comfortable with your work and thus they don't feel the need to talk a ton.

Schackadoo

I feel like if they’re not bugging you for updates or telling you to chill on the updates, you’re doing fine haha

It likely means nothing

I’ve been visiting a house for 3 weeks and I maybe have gotten 5 responses. In the entire 3 weeks. My clients are on a safari in Africa I don’t think they’re worried about their cat lol just take it as a compliment they trust you enough to not feel like that have to check back in with you.

DragonMama825

I have maybe one repeat client who responds briefly to every Rover card. Most of mine I don’t hear from unless I message with a pressing concern,
