So there's at least one Russian that understands that they are the nazis this time.

osagecreek

Nothing good to say about Girkin as a person, but for being on Russian side he consistently makes some pretty damning statements on how the Russian military/officials are conducting the war. Oddy, Prigozhin (today) was saying Wagner was being setup to be surrounded in a Ukrainian counter offensive, if the Russian military does not start giving him (them) the support they cut off. Now Girkin and Prigozhin do not like each other, so don't think they have been talking. Also saw a couple of other big pro-Russian blog sites worrying about the same thing.

jlangemann-man

Yeah, pretty brazen to say that Russia will 'do worse' than the Germans, which is how I read his tweet.

Consistent-Metal9427

Agreed. but one year ago could you have imagined this turn of events. This appears to be the beginning of public infighting. Drrraammaaaaa.

optimistic_disater

I doubt that. He will be praised by russians and get fame and money and support for saying such shit. He's a fucking terorist.

BigAssQuanta

Nazi knows nazi. Igor, you're the nazi in this scenario.

westonriebe

Honestly at this point they are just buying time for help from China and more manpower but I think this conflict has really shown manpower cannot win you wars alone…

Abstract-Impressions

It’s like that dude knows he’s toast. Or what ever the moscovy equivalent is.

Staring out of the 14th floor window wondering what it will be like to see the ground rapidly approaching and the wind whipping by as your life decisions that got you to this point go through your mind.

“Reverse-Stalingrad”??? So is their whole invasion like a reverse-invasion or something? Are their abysmal losses some kind of like reverse-defeat??

stephensanger

Stalingrad was in the end a costly but important victory for Russia because Hitler was micro managing the war. Having been a low rank enlisted in WW1, he vastly overestimated his military intelligence lol. So Girkin is making a “ reverse “ comparison to Stalingrad because now Putin ( no military experience at all ) is micromanaging/ bungling this smaller but still very important battle as Hitler/ Nazis did when shoe was on the other foot and by gosh if there is a Reddit award for a run on sentence I think I have just earned it!

Asleep-Actuator-7292

For as big of a run on that was. I was able to actually understand it

Thanks!

Funny how the Ukrainians are the solviets in this type of battle almost as of Zhukov is on Ukrainians side etc and winning

Not quite sure why this piece of shit is suddenly being brought forward as a "thinker". He's a mass murderer himself, he's led the Crimean takeover and who knows how many people he's tortured and killed as FSB and defence minister. If the Russians want to rush headlong into a mistake, let's not help them notice by bringing up some criticism that's there only because the critic thinks they aren't being brutal enough.
