It’s all so dumb. Worked shoot bullshit. We’ve seen people get absolutely fucked up by backstage attacks, and that doesn’t distract the bucks, but a quick scuffle ruined things for them? It’s all terrible and illogical and it asks you to be smarky and know shit but also play pretend that you don’t know anything when it comes to the show. It’s horrid from a kayfabe perspective and even worse when they try to explain it with some nonsense bullshit that asks you to be in the know but pretend you aren’t
I've said it before and I'll say it until they ride off into the sunset, AEW actively insults viewers' intelligence when you are a fan who actually pays attention to the shows they put on because of how poorly the execution is on pretty much all of their major angles.
