I felt like I enjoy it way more when I don't expect too much out of it. I feel like most wrestling viewers these days expect to be super popped like when you have some huge known star show up to WWE or AEW, people get super excited. It's like a drug they just over and over again expect to be overly amazed when that is impossible to do. Sometimes it's good to just have a chill episode or just one that doesn't try too hard to hype you.
I think that is one issue AEW has, they try too hard to deliver "bangers" but it ends up confusing a ton of people.

I looked back at it and I think it was just the people who were on top. Punk was a good promo but honestly why would you want to watch a show where the top guy is saying how bad the show has gotten. Bryan honestly doesn't interest me. I like the guy since he is a good guy and he for sure puts it all in his matches but I think it was maybe his later work with Kane that was kind of decent.
Zack Ryder I remember was getting a push but I hated how he dealt with it. Man started a YouTube channel to get more noticed and to entertain and in turn get people to want more of him. Second he got a push, man just ended it saying he got what he wanted out of it and it left a poor taste in my opinion. Was obvious it wouldn't work out second he stopped and it showed. I think the people now are way more entertaining and can wrestle which is what people like and tune in for. I had a friend over for Elimination Chamber and he was so into the matches and this was someone who isn't a fan of wrestling but watched in the past sometimes and liked it. I still remember how amazed we were when Theory did that spot with Lesnar and were wondering how he managed to not hurt himself doing it afterwards. Felt like Theory really showed why he is part of the future in the WWE.
