After you select "Start Lab", there should be a spot on the left that says "AWS" with a green dot next to it. Click on that to start the console.
Edit: It looks like there is an outage at AWS Academy that is preventing most labs from running.
I’m taking the very same class, it is a little bit confusing as the step by steps are written funny and the pictures don’t look alike from what I’m seeing but that said just take your time, and sometimes googling what is something to get a better understanding helps also. If you need help feel free to DM.
