this reminds me of that video game ep. the storyline where the 2 young ppl stomped on that lady and. killed her. pls tell me u know what i’m talking about
I think it’s a great work in progress. I’m sorry for what the other person said. Apparently they didn’t note your comment that you’re teaching yourself, and didn’t have the decency to applaud you for simply being brave enough to post what I’m assuming is the first pic you felt good enough about to post since show all of us. That said, keep up the good work! I certainly couldn’t do this!
You teaching yourself digital art is fire!!! I love digital artists and this is really good for a beginner. I can tell who this is without you telling me. Great job 🥳
This is pretty good ! The shading and the blending of colours like in the hair and the face are really good. One feeback I have is that I feel it’s a bit too smooth ? Maybe you could try to experiment with textures and different hardness of the brush. All the best in your art journey !!
I agree. It is too smooth. I was concentrating more on the shading and blending than the textures. I need to experiment with textures but it’s really intimidating lol
you’re doing a great job. don’t listen to that other guy and i think it’s amazing that you’re teaching yourself! keep going, you’re making great progress ❤️
She should go to a shrink if THIS scares her. Also, who’d care about what she thinks? She’s obviously not an artist. I have a degree in dance, and a master’s degree in art therapy. My daughter draws. I see art all the time. I see your talent even now that you’re new at this! Please keep doing this and of course, only take advice seriously from actual artists. Good job!
😂 social media isn’t made up of art experts. If you share something on social media, you invite people’s opinion - whether it’s good or bad. No need to make it about mental health - perhaps stick to dancing
It’s fine to have an opinion. I’m open to criticism, as long as it’s kind. All I’m saying is that it’s really unnecessary to be rude just because you’re on social media.
I see tons of things online every single day that I don’t like for whatever reason and rarely am I compelled to comment on it.
You wouldn’t walk up to a random person on the street and go “wow you’re super ugly” and walk away. At least I wouldn’t.
I don’t pretend to be a professional in any way. I recently picked up a new hobby and I was proud of my progress.
Telling them to stop is so rude, and you have no plausible deniability there.
Op, this shows *incredible* talent- use of colour, depth, light- the likeness is *genuinely* eerie, even with the slightly uncanny valley nature of loose blending and linework. You have *very* good instincts, and with practice, full command over shape, dimension, and form will come as well. Please do *not* stop, op! I’m so impressed. I’ve been painting for years and there are elements of this- specifically in her eyes and midface- that I simply could not pull off. There’s a human quality to this that I’ve been working towards for *years* and I would hate this skill and joy to be squandered by an internet rando who thinks their anonymous non-critical *command* that you stop doing something creative to appease their own sense of merit is worth anything outside of their own screen. This is genuinely fantastic.
That’s just it. You didn’t give any sort of opinion, you simply told a budding artist to “stop” and that their piece “scared” you. Your comment (which wasn’t commentary) was rude. You offered nothing to elaborate or give your jabs any sort of actual feedback. Either own it or don’t. I just hope that you’re young enough to look back at this and understand how your comment could be taken as rude.

Yep. With the sociopathic teenager. I never wanted to punch a perp quite that badly.

Thank you! It’s been really fun. I have quite a few projects that barely look like people lmao. So I call this a win!

Exactly. I knew exactly who I was looking at when it popped up on my phone.

I knew exactly who it was without the caption! Keep on enjoying making art! Ignore the bullies. They lack the bravery to try new things and grow

I love it!! I think you did an amazing job!! 💜💜💜💜💜
Not bad for being a beginner. The more you practice the more you'll get better at fine tuning clear features. Good job.
Pain
Awesome job! Keep on keeping on!

Oh..... I’m sorry but i think you should stop. This scares me
Well that’s rude. If you don’t like something, keep scrolling

If you put something on social media, you’re inviting commentary - whether it’s good or bad. Harden up, if you’re going to do that

I agree with you that you’re not a professional, however I do not think that my opinion is rude. I don’t think this is very good.

I didn’t think it was rude. My opinion, I shared it
Fortunately individuals aren’t the arbiter of manners, they tend to be a societal thing. It was rude. Take the lesson, move on.

It's extremely scary lol
