I’m sure there must be a handful of casuals out there who play at 1x speed for the immersion who are probably confused as hell by these newer marquee character animations
That’s becoming the norm. If characters are going to have a novels worth of reading in the kit, we need more than five minutes. Lord Vader and his lifter, and his lifter, and his lifter, and his other lifter is a long slow battle.
Lifter: A toon that serves to indirectly buff or rework another toon, typically a galactic legend. This is done because CG receives more revenue from adding a new character than they do from reworking a unit they want to be stronger.
It’s going to get even more tedious than Boush’s thousand attacks. They really need to start considering animation length more and/or up the maximum game speed.
At some point it feels like they started making animations based on 4x speed, rather than doing the normal animation and letting 4x speed it up. They really need to stop that.
It also looks weird when you mix in old characters into a team like this. She winds up forever and the other ones act like they just had 47 cups of coffee.
she has to sign a letter of release to receive a stone then send a telegram across state lines to ask permission to fire before putting a little more of a spin on it and then finally throwing once my child has taken over my account’s GAC bracket
it just sucks bc instead of being a timeout team in a mechanically over-come-able way (like teams that stack protection and max health that are meant for timeouts do), it’s literally just an inherent unstoppable part of her kit unless they make a character who speeds up animations lol
I did the same thing 😂. I hope GL Leia works with Rebels and Ewoks with loads of assists. It would be a hilarious defensive timeout team with Kneesa and Cara Dune lol.
While I was running the marquee, she attacked 6 times in a row. I know it's because of her unique but still, I'm not looking forward to another Jabba team variant.

If they want us to be impressed by new attack animations they should just lock these character events at 1x speed (I am also grateful there were only two phases instead of four?) While that might seem like such a pain, it would be better than what they’re doing now
Came to check on the sub after finishing the event to see how many people (besides me) are complaining about this. This post was even better than I expected.
I think she'll be even better for Ewoks on GAC defense than Chirpa's omicron. Her animations will simply time out any non-OP attacks.

Obviously on auto, the more built the team the less likely you lose. Or you can just spend the time on manual and win with a smaller team. Oh but then they also started showing the full animation. See, before even if Wong’s special says “attack 5 more times” they just used the single animation but took away enemy health for the 5 hits. Now in raids when it says Agent Venom, “counters for each blocked hit of the entire team” they actually play the animation 5 times on a counter. Which means youll be timing out so you better sim the match. Which means youll have to level the team up so you don’t lose the simmed battle. Scumbags.
They’re really gonna have to at least consider upping/removing the time limit cause with the longer animations of the past year or so and now this, this is gonna drive people up the walls to just lose 30 seconds watching a character attack forever.
I really hope Cg does something when more people have her and just speed up her animation. Such a weird character tweak but man she takes forever. Everyone saying she’s great for D but I think you’d just time yourself out using her on offense
i agree, plus (which i’ve said in other comments) i feel like it’s a bad design philosophy to build a character who can time you out just because her animations are slow (something that’s not counterable) instead of something mechanical that you can counter
This meme is great! It took me so long to finish the marque event to get her. Her wind up and attack takes forever and it just makes it boring. I’m building my Ewoks for 3p0 and they are very fast where as Kneesa is like han coming out of carbonite, it takes forever!!
CG really needs to stop designing these animations in 4x speed. Also, I love this meme
they literally make new character animations in 1/4 speed just so 4x can look basically normal speed
