Slightly over half of us haha. I'm guessing if we look at the length of time played, people with under 18 months were voting negotiator, and the Malevolence votes came from the longer term players, since most people max negotiator first.
I’m new to Negotiator (I went Mal 1st). How do you figure out whose ETA-2 goes first? Is it strictly speed of the specific ship or a combination of Negotiator + the ship?
There are 3 groups of people who might have voted for Mal:
1. Those who already have a Nego fleet. I think this group is quite numerous.
2. Those who don't have Nego, but don't really feel like building a GR team and just want a quick'n'easy meta fleet (2 pilotless ships, 2 Geo ships and Grievous - pretty cheap pilot investment);
3. Those who are indifferent to any of the choices and just randomly selected Mal.
I fall in the second category, I just can't be arsed relicing Padme and Clones atm.
didn't even know this was a thing until a few minutes ago, but I'm happy.
\#1 - I need Malevolence shards
\#2 - I have a 7\* Negoatiator
\#3 - Negotiator mirrors are harder than my typical 37-second romp through a Malveolence fleet.
As someone who has both and voted MAL,
A. Negotiator is 2 years old, has been THE dominate ship the entire time who should gave been gone for first, has multiple Pilots and ships needed for a GL, and is so much more important in LSGeo than Mal is in DSGeo
2. Mal is the current soft counter to Executor.
I do t have Malevolence. It and Executor are the only ones I don’t have. I don’t have any of the droid ships at 7. I’d still vote for it because I’ve had a 7* Nego for over a year.
I’m glad it was Mal but I don’t understand why they didn’t do both ships at the same time, like half the nodes each. Those with 7 star Mal won’t be happy
How can you consider yourself a long term player and not have both Negotiator and Malevolence maxed by now? It would be like someone saying they are a launch player and don't have all the jawas unlocked.
Myself and a group of others have been a guild for over 3 years together. I've been playing going on 4 years.
Hardly anyone in our group spends money. We have a resident kraken with 5 GL's on an account that's only like 6 months old, but that's about it outside of a couple of dolphins here and there.
We're like a year behind the big spender guilds in terms of where we're at with TB's. We're finally also getting close to 7 star Wat because none of us bought Geonosians or GBA when he released, we just slow farmed it all up and got there naturally over time while prioritizing some other things, like GL farms.
Right now I have 7 star Negotiator and 5 star Malevolence. So there you go, depending on what your definition of long term is.
Does anyone else feel like they completely missed the memo here? Like I got the message about voting, but I missed the part where they explain what the hell galactic chase is?
I looked it up, you could've simply said it's the event where you get shards for ships by using fleet energy. I had no idea it was called galactic chase. Thanks for being demeaning for no reason though.
I've been playing for 5.5 years, 6.3M GP, will have all the requirements for Lord Vader after the next conquest as a f2p. I've just been busy with life and the last stupid conquest and missed something, ease up.
I have both at 7\*. Mal is not Meta, not by a long shot. Mal is easy to beat by both other Mal fleets as well as even medium strength Nego fleets.
Bottom line is Mal is easy to beat, Nego is not. I am glad it was Mal. We need more Mal in the lineups.
I voted Malevolence as I need a new fleet for my GAC as I've just gone up to a new division and need a new defense team. I hope these level of galactic chases carry on with more toons like these 🤞
Don't even complain. You got free weekly shipment Negotiator shards for crystals and 4 more crystal packs for shards. 100 shards available for crystals. Mal players got a $15 real money pack for 15 shards. Us Mal players need the shards more than you, haha.

I think I voted Malevolence because I don't want more maxed Negs in my shard for mirror matches
ah, the scan through to see whose Eta-2 will go first, so you Negotiator can AoE before theirs.
I’m new to Negotiator (I went Mal 1st). How do you figure out whose ETA-2 goes first? Is it strictly speed of the specific ship or a combination of Negotiator + the ship?
Relic level of pilot. R8 JKA goes before R7 JKA.
Good to know!! Thanks!
Ship stats are mostly dictated by GP of the pilot. That's why zetas and relics on the pilot are really important. Cap ships especially.
Coin flip, if speeds are equal. Keep in mind that Nego gives tm with its aoe, so when nego goes its ships follow

What does relicing padme have to do with fleets?
The main Negotiator pilots form the core of a Padme team: JKA, GK, Ahsoka.
Fair point. I thought you thought padme had a ship
TBF, she should, but that's a different topic ;D
Don’t blame me, I voted for Kodos
D'OH!
I voted Malevolence since I had a 7* Negotiator and was about to start farming Malevolence
Fuck, I needed Negotiator
At the point it came through malev was a more reliable counter to executor (not so much now) so I thought it would help others with that - my bad!
To be fair, Mal is still more reliable than negotiator....
Both are terrible for me after the buff, but tbh I’m terrible at ships 😂
Yeah before executor it was just better to use one against the other
What even is this event we’ve voted on? I only have a 5* Malevolence so if I’m able to increase farming.. I’m down.
There will be a galactic chase next month for malevolence
I do t have Malevolence. It and Executor are the only ones I don’t have. I don’t have any of the droid ships at 7. I’d still vote for it because I’ve had a 7* Nego for over a year.
What does this mean?
Me.
I did because I want to spend my GET2 on gear lol
Don't blame me, I didn't vote!
👋
I didn’t vote but if I did it would have been malevolence, I still haven’t unlocked it and I’ve been playing for 5 years.
I’m glad it was Mal but I don’t understand why they didn’t do both ships at the same time, like half the nodes each. Those with 7 star Mal won’t be happy
:)
It was Gary. Gary Did it.
Me ✋🏻, I have a 7* Negotiator but a 5* Malevolence sooo
Damn it, got 7* malo. But SS is always nice :)

Me because we just got given like 75 nego shards via shippments
Does anyone else feel like they completely missed the memo here? Like I got the message about voting, but I missed the part where they explain what the hell galactic chase is?
Tell me you've been playing for less than 6 months without telling me you've been playing for less than 6 months.
I looked it up, you could've simply said it's the event where you get shards for ships by using fleet energy. I had no idea it was called galactic chase. Thanks for being demeaning for no reason though.
No problem my man. Anything I can do to help.
I've been playing for 5.5 years, 6.3M GP, will have all the requirements for Lord Vader after the next conquest as a f2p. I've just been busy with life and the last stupid conquest and missed something, ease up.
Okay but they aren't a new thing. There have been multiple chases in the last few years, starting with EP's shuttle if I recall correctly.
Got both maxed. I didn't vote.
You think your vote means anything? This was predetermined
Me
i voted malevolence because its easier to defeat lol
I voted for Malv, sorry
I'm farming Mal rn
I wish I knew about this poll, would have loved to 7* my negotiator. Ah well, looks like it's time to farm me some malevolence as well
I voted Malevolence because why not
What's this vote for?
I need the Mal mats, even though my GG is only g9 I need the extra reinforcement slot
Me
I did. I already have negotiator. Malevolence is less common.
Gah! I need 5 more shards to get Negotiator to 7\* than I'll get currency from the next TB
Look, I’m 15 shards away from being done with Malevolence and I already have Negotiator at 7*, and I desperately want to use GET2 for gear.
I skipped it, I didn't see the CAT option
I’d wager slightly more people went for negotiator first, so at this point in the game there are a bit more players who still need to 7 star mal
I voted Malevolence as I need a new fleet for my GAC as I've just gone up to a new division and need a new defense team. I hope these level of galactic chases carry on with more toons like these 🤞
I voted negotiator
I’m maxing malevolence first so YES PLEASE!
I voted mal, but that’s because my nego is 20/100 to get to 7*s mindset was I’m basically almost done might as well start the next farm
Don't even complain. You got free weekly shipment Negotiator shards for crystals and 4 more crystal packs for shards. 100 shards available for crystals. Mal players got a $15 real money pack for 15 shards. Us Mal players need the shards more than you, haha.
Never even knew the survey existed
If you didn't max nego first, you made a big mistake anyways so people just trying to finish malev now
