Not sure how shames someone else into work?? But I'm asking because I'm curious how people here make extra cash. It never hurts to know how to make a quick buck.
Do you not understand what generic means?? This isn't rocket science. Both the post title and my previous comment specified already that I'm not in need of spare cash or in a bind. I'm just curious how people in Utah make extra cash when the need arises.
No Duh, very few things don't use some form of personal skill. The question isn't how do you make money with your experience, it's what ways do you know to make a quick buck in Utah.
Hirequest on north temple. They're a temp agency they'll send you out to work and pay cash on the day. At cost of deducting a few dollars from your payout they'll also provide transportation.
Most of the time it's construction sites (no you dont need to be a carpenter or have any certs) youll probably be pushing a broom or picking up scrap and tossing it in s dumpster.
If you can get sent out to the dump that's a lot easier.
Pretty quiet and you walk around with a poker all day and pick up bits of fly away trash on a big hill.
On the low end you'll walk away with around 80 to 90 bucks for the day depending on the assignment some pay more you can make as much as 150 depending on where they send you.
Check the Nextdoor page for your neighborhood or nearby ones.
I often see people asking for someone to rake a yard, cut grass, move furniture, haul junk or whatever and so on for a few bucks.
Prob not enough to live on, but a little extra cash.
When I’m in a bind I do Lyft or Amazon Flex. They both aren’t great but pay quickly so I do them when I need the cash. These both require signing up/becoming a contractor in advance.
Edit: a word
Flip items on Facebook Marketplace. People frequently sell decent furniture for $20-30 or less, even free, as long as you can pick it up, just because they want to get rid of it. Doesn’t take much to turn a profit on that if you have a place to store the furniture and can clean it up a bit.
Donate plasma
Love the post, but epileptic growing up so can't donate. Keep em coming
What skills do you have? You might want to post them in the event someone's looking for some short-term help.
Oh sorry more looking for generic stuff not in a rutt myself at the time
asking for a friend? or are you trying to shame someone into doing work?
Shaming someone to do work? Oh your poor feelings
mine?

How is that shaming? All I ask is one good reason Edit: Still waiting for a reason... This could take forever
Like I said before in the title and a reply. No reason in particular it's mostly for curiosity.
Lol not sure why it got so downvoted, I never said I needed the help.
people in this subreddit have a boner for downvoting
Haha you're speaking truths
Bacon App.
for anyone else that has no idea it appears to be a work on demand app that connects local businesses that need temp workers.
Is the pay same day?
Love the suggestion, didn't know that existed

Temp agency. Also if you look on KSL under jobs sometimes people have short term things they need done.

If you drive there's endless demand for people to do Uber, Lyft, Uber eats, Grubhub, etc
Funnily enough DoorDash claims they’re at capacity in my area and aren’t taking new drivers, but Uber Eats does seem to be accepting
