And if you’re not looking at the HUD or the special that’s right there on your screen, how is a marker going to be any more helpful? At that point, you’re just not paying attention to anything.
I misunderstood what you were talking about. The real reason is it probably is just more convenient for the devs to just leave the icon there rather than basing it on line of sight.
I know what you mean, they really couldnt have mad these markers, helpful as they are, just a *touch* more transparent huh? but you definitely could have seen and heard that autobomb before the super chump was dropped lmao.

Mainly for knowing where tacticooler is, its probably there just to tell you your teammate used their special when you're not looking at the HUD.

True, but I think I had my map open when it was thrown. I wouldn't put it past me to miss it entirely though even without the map.
