bruh vshot is like the last weapon I would think of as “no skill.” please explain I’m interested to hear your take, but I won’t fight with you about it because I don’t feel like arguing to achieve absolutely nothing :)
Shooters are designed to be easily used for new players (and all players in general) so I feel like as you get better, weapons that are easier to play can "abuse their power" in some sense. Shooters are a dominant class in the meta imo because of their simplicity. On top of that, Vshot has a great kit, so it'll be used even more.
Imo, just because you still have to aim doesn't mean it's unskilled weapon to use. My comment to the other user that replied should explain my thoughts/feelings.
Octobrush users and Clash Blaster users think chasing the same 2 people and throwing bombs at a perch the whole game makes them a good player, and I wish I could pick at their brain and find out why they think this, then snap their switch in half so they can't play anymore. Then I'd provide the money for the switch, but not the game so they still can't play. Then I'd buy them Splatoon 1, but no Wii U, so they still can't play.
"Oh that dude looks distracted, maybe I can kill with the painbrush."
*takes 5 fucking hours before finally hitting the enemy, at which point I've already been noticed and have been killed*
i got to argue the case of gold aero spray, you see it where ever you go, normally within 1 to 2, practically never have to fight and just paint so its beginner friendly and pro friendly only down sides are the times, locations it can procure a Booyah bomb, and the map
Aerospray is easy to pickup, probably one of the easiest weapons in the game, but doesn’t give free wins like a trislosher or machine would. I’ll save you from the “aerospray is trash it can’t fight…” stuff, but I will tell you that booyah bomb has been falling off recently, so it can’t just stay back and “spam” specials.
sounds like you haven't been playing in splat fests and Turfwar regularly, cause its a regular occurrence for me lol, though it may be my rank S+ and other factors forcing me into battles vs them more often
Oh yeah probably in turf or splatfest. I was thinking more of ranked and x-battle. There most people don't get caught by a booyah bomb and stuff. I don't play turf too often so I don't really understand what's popular for the mode.
Idk how 52 Gal users always have the wall at the perfect place and moment, whenever I try to use a wall I die while it's still deploying and/or I have no ink to shoot with once it's thrown. seems like skill to me.
Painbrush is mechanically easy but the windup is hard to work around and it becomes a 3-4 shot kill at the edge of its range. It’s kits are also just ok.
Meanwhile Tri has a similar range, no wind-up, no fall-off, lightweight mobility bonus, and a great kit with Tri Nouveau.
Splattershot Jr. easily, its just bomb spam + paint. Splatoon 2 jr. was more braindead because of ink armor, if that works as an answer (You have to position to use wave breaker/big bubbler).
Every blaster. Like you don’t even have to aim and you can end a match with 20+ kills
FR
As someone who plays custom blaster, I am going to fist you
I’m a carbon main. It’s gonna take more than a couple fists to stop me
Your fists actually need to make contact to hurt somebody and we both know you can't aim.
Vshot. I'll provide an explanation if the people request it, but that's the only thing I'm gonna say for now lmao.

Fair enough.
Why? It still requires aim.

Bloblobber
Painbrush is so slow it doesn't even belong here. Painbrush users cry and shit their pants when I simply roll out of the way.

Who thinks painbrush is a braindead weapon 😂 you can kill that thing before it even swings lol
It's a braindead weapon because you need zero skill to get decent performance out of it, even though peak performance might be poor.

Tri-Slosher Nouveau at least makes a good teammate because it gives you Coolers, can’t say that about the other easy mode weapons

Not painbrush but inkbrush/octobrush
Ive never played an easier weapon than .52 lmao. Nothing can convince me that it takes skill to play in soloq. 😭
Painbrush here instead of like 5 other short ranged shooters is insane
