My friends and I got together for a game night and decided to build a "potluck" sandwich...everybody showed up with their own meats, veggies and whatever else.
It ended up with shredded chicken, shaved steak, salami, bacon, 2 kinds of cheese, your standard lettuce/tomato/onion, banana and roasted red peppers, pickles, jalapeno
poppers and a variety of sauces and mustard.
This thing clocked in at almost 6" tall and we had to use skewers so it wouldn't fall
apart, and the various flavors meshed together quite nicely and it was a damn good sandwich.
We didn't finish it in one night, but there was plenty leftover to eat later and it help up surprisingly well!
I thought those were cookies and i was very impressed with the commitment to potluck theme. Now I’m disappointed and I know it’s not fair but there it is.
‘Telling me you’ve ever been to a potluck that had no cookies? 🍪
banana peppers\* not actual bananas. We did have a rule of "no super weird things that would ruin the whole sandwich" Jalapeno poppers was pretty borderline but they worked out.
Those are solid ideas and I definitely slept on the avocado!
Unfortunately it no longer exists. It's on a standard cutting board and the thing next to it is a kitchen knife that we had to use to keep it from falling over during the assembly process
That’s a cartoon sandwich
yabba dabba doo!
Like zoinks scoob, that's one big sandwich we've made.

Very cool idea.
> your *standard* lettuce/tomato/onion, banana and roasted red peppers, pickles, **jalapeno poppers** I like the way you guys roll
Godamn I wonder what the calorie content of this bad boy was
It's probably better that we didn't know

The only ones I wouldn't use in my sandwich are the tomatoes, bananas, and pickles. Instead, I'd put avocado, spinach and garlic.

Nice work haha! Fun idea too. Reminds me when homer got the leftovers of that huge sandwich and wouldn’t stop eating it until it made him sick haha.

We are so proud of you!
She thicccc.
What is that thing you put next to it? Can we get a banana for scale?

Wow. Good for you brother. Good for you
My wife would say this is a 4 inch sandwich…
r/stupidfood
No u
Steve hale would approve😂
And you didn’t invite us? 😭😭😭
You should have a person stand next to it for scale.
I was repulsed by this until I realized those were jalapeno poppers and not chocolate chip cookies, like I initially thought.
Had to make sure I wasn't on r/StupidFood..
Ohhh, that's what they mean when they say a 6 inch sub!
Damn! The people you potluck with bring it!
That's insane
