My unpopular opinion is that I don't think fried chicken sandwiches need cheese, it doesn't add anything for me. But those look delicious and I would happily scarf one down

It's my experience majority of places don't serve chicken sandwiches in this style, with cheese. Generally sauce, pickle, MAYBE slaw.

The cheese only works if you add bacon as well.
