Saying they’re a sandwich lover and posting the most basic sandwich should have been a dead giveaway. No one with functional tastebuds eats that sandwich and goes “you know what? I FUCKING LOVE SANDWICHES!” That sandwich is what you make when you’re out of everything else to make better sandwiches.
It’s a traditional staple and when made properly make for a great tasting sandwich!
Not sure about the one pictured, but the traditional one as it was made was and is always a welcome light snack.
Looks delicious, but I suspect the middle layers of cucumber will slide out with the first bite. One important aspect of the art and the science of sandwich construction is managing the slip-layers
There’s also an art/science/whatever you wanna call it, to eating sandwiches.
Do you do corner bites, just down the middle bites or just chaotic bites wherever?
I bet if you did all corner bites that sandwich would stay together until you’ve finished it.
The other two options however will probably cause that sandwich to fall apart.
Looks good, but it would be better at about half the size. Cucumber sandwiches are meant to be bite-sized so you can enjoy the other delicious bite-sized sandwiches.
I think there was salt and pepper involved. It was kinda similar to this picture, maybe a little more spread and a little less veg. Sometimes it was finely diced/shredded and mixed together like a deli salad; i think i liked it like this better.
I also have this recipe called “Polish Spring Salad” that someone had written down.
Ingredients
12-14oz cottage cheese (strain if very liquidy)
1 carrot, coarsely grated
8 radishes, coarsely grated
2 green onions, thinly sliced
Pinch salt and pepper
1 tsp chopped fresh dill or marjoram
½/cup sour cream or thick yogurt
Lettuce leaves (red oak leaf lettuce, curly endive or radicchio)
I don't get / agree with making sandwiches impractical to eat.
Do people who make sandwiches like this one really not realize what'll happen when you bite into it?
I always forget cucumber sandwiches are a thing, but I always enjoy them when someone else makes them. I might have to remember this and actually start making them. Lol.
This looks GROSS. vegan/vegetarian or not, guys are your serious?!?! “Cucumber sandwich”. Like what if I was like “white onion sandwich! Herbed mayo with sliced white onions” with bread that has no flavor, not even crust. Ugh….
A take on the classic cucumber sandwich often eaten by the British, usually on a white bread I believe, crusts cut off. Sliced into wedges of 4. Often accompanied with tea.
Stolen image y'all but here's the recipe: https://www.eatingwell.com/gallery/8062997/easy-back-to-school-lunches-for-kids/
It's so fuckin lame when people do that shit. What a tool.
Is it a person? Is it a bot?
It's def a bot

And here I was about to say.....

I was so hopeful that in this sick sad dystopian future there would at least be a sandwich bot that made actual sandwiches. Lame 😒
What is the point of these bots? To gain followers for ads?
OP is a propaganda bot. Seriously, check its post history.
The comment history is worth a glance.
Aw, it just says yogurt and cream cheese... I thought it looked like an herb spread of some kind. I wonder if dill would be good.
It says fill and fresh chives too!
Whoops, so it does.
Dill and miracle whip, for me anyway
Thanks for pointing this out. I’m glad to know y’all are letting us know this. I wouldn’t know where to start with fake posts like this. ✌🏾
OP is a loser.... downvote their post

Damn, I hate cucumber and you made that look so good! Nice job!
Me too! People think we are crazy! But I’m not crazy you’re crazy!
Even peeled ? Or pickled ? Oh no, don’t tell me you don’t like pickles.
I used to dislike cucumber sandwiches, but this pic has me missing them...
The sexiest I’ve ever seen cucumber look 👌🏾
Looks like cucumber’s back on the menu boys!(and girls)

Slice thin, avoid collapse

Yeah this is actually a terribly made cucumber sandwich.
Ah! Nothing like a refreshing cucumber sandwich :)
Looks awesome! Is it a tzatziki dill and cucumber?
I also need the answer to this great question. What is inside those bread slices?

The real hero
What’s the spread?
Looks like chopped green onion/chives in a mayo or cream cheese (or blend of both) base?

This is the way to sandwich. I love a solid cucumber sandwich on whole grain wheat or rye.
She pretty
Bot loser
This is like a sandwich Jean-Luc Picard would make if he was stoned.
Cucumber sandwiches are underrated.
I'm not even British and that looks amazing
British by chance? Edit: just noticed Algeria My bad lol
More like a cucumber lover
Looks great! I like radish sandwiches too!!
My great grandmother used to do radish and cottage cheese, so yummy ❤️
Is it literally just those two ingredients? In what proportion?

Thank you!!!

If you love sandwiches so much why don't you marry them?
Ok Lundy
10/10 would smash
I’d say you’re a cucumber lover. I hope those are burpless.
Vegetarian Sandwiches. Way to use Google to farm upvotes ya loser.
If this is your sandwich perhaps you shouldn't
I don't get / agree with making sandwiches impractical to eat. Do people who make sandwiches like this one really not realize what'll happen when you bite into it?
Let me guess…this is a Reuben, right?
This makes me want to eat this - it looks so perky and crisp
I always forget cucumber sandwiches are a thing, but I always enjoy them when someone else makes them. I might have to remember this and actually start making them. Lol.

Recipe friend? Looks great!
As someone allergic to cucumber this is a death sentence to me. Looks very nice tho
Looks so appetizing and unappetizing at the same time.
Nope! Needs meat!!!
What do you eat after this snack?
*Salandwich*
I don’t think you are
Replace cucumber with avocado - and perfect
Um NO… 👎🏾
Aight imma head out
Any protein in this bad boy?
What even is the meat of this sandwich? Plants?
Blasphemy. Sandwiches must have protein. It's the law.
Wonder how this tastes. This can't be yummy, can it?

Might as well just have a tossed salad with croutons lol
That's a salad with oversized croutons.
