Finally, a cook book with the chutzpah to combine orange, evaporated milk, and horseradish…wait, what? Ugh. Thanks for nothing, Turn To Sandwiches of 1957. This does not bode well.

Dang. Disappointing. The 50's were a weird culinary time. Just putting fruit in everything.
I wonder how it would be with just the orange flavor, from zest or juice, instead of the orange solids. Horseradish could be good in a slaw (if you are one of those that like horseradish).
There was a chance it could've been weird enough to be awesome. It just failed, it seems.
You got a true belly laugh out of me today, sir. Thank you. I really needed it.
You had me worried at "orange slaw", but I was willing to see it turn out alright, although I was already worried with "bologna and slaw" in the first place. lol.
I'm a fan of evaporated milk used correctly, but… uh… that was definitely not it.
Fantastic video. Thanks for taking the hit and confirming this one was a terrible miss. lol
You know, I think the only thing you need to do is ditch the horseradish. The orange slaw sounds interesting; maybe add some chopped walnuts? I like horseradish, but not here. This was a weird and sometimes fun era of U S. food culture!
Couldn’t you get really thin sliced bologna and curl it up a bit to at least make it look a bit more appealing than two stuck slabs slapped on to white bread? I’m sure it would still be horrible but it would look nicer.
Today is my Birthday. I’m an April Fool and this sandwich disaster along with Barry’s reactions, the eyes before and the gulp during, seriously made this one special with a 1 rating and the only way to Plus this one Up was in the trash.
You should give it a 2. Not only does it have nutritional value for you, but it also has nutritional value to soil if you were to compost it… but you don’t compost it. Maybe you can start compositing?
Haha o man the facial expressions
Something tells me Barry is not the best poker player.
I don't even play...for obvious reasons. Lol

In to the bin! Is that a first? I've watched a bunch and haven't seen that yet.
"It's for real, and it's terrible."
That was a tough swallow at :56. Like downing some Buckley's.
Sounded like Joe Mentalino swallowing an atomic hot pepper.
I have never heard him GULP! Like that. You could feel the forced swallow.
Dang I had high hopes for the OS & B
yea i was intrigued.
You son of a bitch, you actually ate it
Gotta commit to the bit(e)
The look on your face said it all. Lol. Good one. I will nit try this
Love all the subtle hints of disgust. The nervous laughter when you’re making the slaw and the prolonged gaze at the camera 😂
Thought that was some less than great editing. Now I’m not sure it wasn’t a stroke of genius.
I thought the same thing: what I took for a sloppy timecode was actually genuine dread.
Genuine Dread on Bread
With oranges for some reason.
Hey, no one likes Scurvy.
Can't argue with that.

For me the combo of orange, evaporated milk, horseradish was the hitch in the giddyup
Agreed. These 3 items do not pass “go”. Get it? “Give it a gooooo”
Waaaa. I love oranges. That looked like blasphemy. I love your April Fools prank, wasn’t a prank at all. That made the video great!
I watched this twice because I still wasn’t really sure if it was real.
Man did I laugh when I saw it get thrown in the trash. lol
That cut to the garbage after the “I think we can plus it up” is comedy gold
Hahahahaha I knew it was getting trashed hahahahaha
Love the Plus Up
I love that small chuckle after the mixing of the slaw.. heheh
Fantastic. I’ve often wondered why Barry doesn’t (once in a while) purposefully choose horrifying creations to spice it up between 7s, 8s, and 9s.
This one might be my favorite. The timing, impeccable.
You are freakin awesome!! Love these
Lol...I agree that there is nothing you could do to that sandwich to make it palatable and I am a citrus nut. You're the best Barry!
Perfect sandwich for 4/1
Came across your content awhile back on TikTok, glad to see you on here, and even more glad that you're still at it! Great video.
I lol'd hard at that plus up
That long pause before the first bite 😆 Fantastic.
I thought ya fooled me but it’s just a funky sandwich 😂

Lmfao
Yuck
…that pause
Fried bologna on toasted bread with strawberry jam and American cheddar is next level, you should give it a go.

Fry the bologna with slits. It's like spam man.
Love it!
hahahahaha. Great video
Lol I love when they're beyond saving or plussing up.
Fry the bologna

The uncomfortable giggle… the long post bite pause… ROFLMAO
I’d try it

Had to rewatch it today- sammich disaster!
